Why can't RA get a bloody microphone for the people asking questions at the press conference?

Like Joe even said himself, concede 8 or 9 penalties, probably all of them within 30 meters of Aus try line, yet no yellow card. We concede 3 penalties in the middel 30 meters and yellow for us. In this game it dis not matter but where is consistency. Also, dont have problem with the other 2 yellows as that is just how the game is reffed, but then you look at the NZ game and same, maybe even worse, is just a penalty. I feel for the refs though but we need consistency. And teams only talk about it if you lose due to it. We need fans and coaches to stand up for other teams even if the decision benefitted your team. To be fair, I felt we did get some rub of the green in the 1st half
  • Forgive me but every man and his dog was predicting a 20 point win. So when it happens why the dramatisation? Joe has made it clear he needs time generally and game time in particular to build confidence and iron out the missed communications. I think it’s obvious Joe is focussing on forward play and not wanting to put undue pressure on the win. I think the Wallabies fronted up and held the line well for the most part defensively. Our kicking was poor I thought but it was clearly aimed at turning the big boys around. We have Toupo and Angus Bell to return but I like that Joe isn’t rushing things so he looks to be doing something. This isn’t our year and maybe next year won’t be either. I trust Joe.
  • Saffa here… by no means in my opinion were the Wallabies poor. Yes scoreboard does not reflect it. Like any your team there’s a lot to take in and execute on the day meaning natural instinct somewhat falls away… Joe is right… keep accumulating caps and the play will become second nature then unleashing the talent these players have. They are all good, smart players.

Australia will need to get better soon because the games will not get easier. The All Blacks are going to be cut throat and Argentina are playing with high confidence

Can the reporters speak into a microphone please. It’s annoying not hearing the question
  • @brianmays4366
Go Joe! From a Saffa now in the UK we need a strong Aussie team, international rugby is not the same
  • Joe moving the team forward. Clear as day. ABs gonna have bigger issues.
  • @Bennusan1
Good luck Joe. You have a lot of work ahead. Hope RA gives you the space and time you need to rebuild this squad.
  • @pcoppleman
I know "rebulding" has been a constant over many years and coaches. Joe is the old school we need to build yet again. Difference seems to be more of an intelligence starting with Joe. That our players need more games than what super rugby offers is another long time goal. Joe is explaining it in simple terms of where we are, to get where we need to.
  • @jksinorbit
Just repeat what you said before Joe....that the Boks only win by luck.
  • @georgesmash3234
Joe is a typical Kiwi! 😂 He'll learn more how tough this Wallaby job is. Furthermore, Dave Rennie build and laid a good promising foundation until the Federation took dumb decision by appointing Eddie which it backfire massively, now they went back from scratch and Joe will regret this.
  • @Knowyourintent
What's up with Alan referring to Joe as "our coach". Accurate but seems very impersonal. That in conjunction with the glaring looks he gives Joe while Joe is speaking .... not sure what to make of that ... never seen anything like it before in a coach / captain press press conference.
  • @davidpound833
Great press conference, the wallabies can't afford to give that many penalties away. They need to keep ball in hand, build phases. Aimless kicking just bewilders me.
  • Younger side Joe, Boks had a young flyhalf and eighthman , a injury ridden start to the Tri Nations.
  • @andresdeks
As Joe said before the match; the Boks are just lucky😂😂
