I believe, what they did to this gentleman,is not fair.He put his life at risk,by serving the US. Putting him in prison, was the worst thing that could be done to any person He didn't commit any crime.Joining the army, was not his fault. He deserve that citizenship as promised.

Let's don't put emotions into this. The US Department of Defense and State Department are 2 different agencies. By enlisting in the army through no fault of his own, he violated his non-immigrant visa requirements as set forth in the State Department policies. His issue is with the Defense Department but unfortunately, he cannot sue. Kenya is a nice country and he won't starve there.
  • The question is he breached the USA student VISA terms those are the initial conditions under which he went to the USA

Francis, anyone can join the US Army even without papers. Do a YouTube search on Mexicans who have been deported after serving in the US military -- "America's deported veterans". This person's story is not complete. He must have committed a felony. The fact that he served the US doesn't absolve him from crime.

If this man was truely in the US Legally as a student, he has the right to at least finish his studies. If not the US could care less that he gave his life for the country! We have many US Citizens that lost their lives serving in the military in which their family received NOTHING for their loss so what makes you think they would care about a African foreigner? If you don't know abut the history of this country do your research and ask somebody-
  • We know of some who died in service and their respective countries were required to repatriate the remains. This can apply to most Western countries. It is common.
  • This man should not have been punished for the fraud that the recruiter committed. And his citizenship should never have been revoked considering he had served in the US army for several years.

Thank you boss. Please do a video about what is happening in the UK because we want to hear from you.
  • Can I ask these rhetorical questions; what was his immigration status when he entered? Don’t forget that in the United States no matter the number of years you have been here one’s citizenship or permanent residence can be revoked if your initial award of citizenship or permanent status was fraudulent. The Department of Homeland Security can de naturalized or withdraw your permanent residency status. One needs to be careful when applying for a visa to enter United States or applying for change of status. There are many cases of people who thought they were citizens after many years Homeland Security writes them telling them they are not citizens. Any MISTAKE you make thinking that it’s irrelevant can cost your immigration status in the USA. We might not know the details of what might have happened.

The story doesn’t add up. How does a student join the army? What visa was he using while in the army? Irrespective, all visa n passports given remain property of the host country n can be withdrawn at any time. The story has gaps, it just doesn’t flow for me. I believe something happened that we aren’t being told about. Sorry!
  • Firstly, it was an offer and not a passion for him.. intention was for citizenship. Also remember without adding any emotion to this story they offered him, and they can still refuse him such offer, he wasn't born in the country in question meaning they have the veto power to do as they please. Well, if he had died that would have been the end of him sadly.. I don't want to sound irrational but I am sorry to say there are many things that will never change with the way Africans are treated around the world. Remember people you are more respected in your own country and place of birth, he could have joined the army in his own country, Africans are just so fixated in other countries called the west and are always willing to do the things they will never do in their own countries outside, sad story still.
  • @eve2754
You have not told the full story of the circumstances of his story
  • @sammym9259
No one forced him😂😂😂. We ALL know Nigerians are most resourceful in acquiring papers by any means😂😂😂
