I've been in many E46's , M3's and non-M's with stock rotors and just a good brake pad, EBC, Hawk outperform a lot of BBK, they look cool, but the car is already kind of light, you don't need all that brake.

I just recently prepped my car for ORP. Fresh dot4, ebc yellow, new tires, and then they canceled the track day. Now i'm super set for daily driving till the next trackday lmao. I hate the noise on the street of trackpads but it stops night and day different over the stock pads. Great point on pads.
  • I'm gunna defend getting manifolds for the FRS/86/BRZ real quick. If it's not the new 2022+, they're absolutely worth it. Most aftermarket exhaust manifolds are designed to help kill the torque dip the car is infamously known for. Added with a tune can add more horsepower, but more importantly, a way better torque curve

No.1 (!) Oh, I've seen so many cars with cool wheels, lowered and w/ front splitters etc. that haven't been serviced properly (even basics). Thumbs up!

When I had my first gen Scion my brakes were the single most expensive mod on my car. Had to convert rear from drum to disk.
  • Big brake kits don't mean better stopping power. If you want to stop faster, get better quality brake pads, or multi-piston calipers. Bigger brake disks help heat dissipation, but not outright breaking performance, the same thing you could get with slotted or drilled brakes for less money. Unless you're going to track your car, you don't need bigger brake calipers, slotted/drilled&slotted disks are fine
  • That was pretty cool indeed when I modify my dream car in the future I am going to do tons of research. 'Cause technically speaking I don't really know anyone who can help modify my car anyways but that's ok I am willing to work with my hands.

Should I lower my car before I do anything? I feel like any mods would be silly with stock suspension
  • @anguinechip
6:01 you my guy, Are in a dangerous spot there🤣 Edit: I can see him in Home Alone as a burgler with his head on fire

I didn’t change my transmission oil when I serviced my Volvo S60, I thought about it, but decided “meh it is probably going to be fine”. And then my Transmission “blew up”, the differential (which is part of the M56) failed completely and it also blew the right side drive shaft clean off at the inner CV joint.
