Soursop is my absolute favorite. Sweet, custardy and filling like nothing else from a tree.

Have 2 trees here in northern Thailand. Fruits are looking ready today. Usually give them away to the neighbors. I'm going to try to make juice from a few, for myself, this year.

What happens if the soursop is dark and hard on the outside?

I've found the safest ones to buy in the grocery stores, are the ones that have no black marks on the skin. All green or light green! Glad several grocery stores in the greater Toronto area get them in on a regular basis. It's become a regular part of my diet!

I bought a large sour sop from grocery store, it’s pretty firm when I try to squeeze it and the skin is a dark brown. Can the time be brown or is it always on the green side? I cut it open and it is white, colour of coconut meat I suppose and it does not smell at all. Is it normal for the skin to be this dark? Also, the inside is pretty firm when I push my fingers in it, the part that is soft or mushy is at the ver end where it was connected to the tree. Thank you 🙏🏼🇨🇦

Apart from the back and the seed that should not be eaten, Is it the spongy-like white succulent inside flesh, we should eat or licked &;swallow all , or we should throw also the sponggy-like white material out after licking/sucking it?

How about small white worms does your fruit ever get those and how to get rid of them.....
