The only game that lets you add rings to Earth until it becomes a black hole. It's Universe Sandbox.

I wonder if Gray will ever realise that the life likelihood number isn't about how many people are alive, it's actually about the chance of any life existing at all, humanity would be long gone well before that figure got below 75%...

earth becoming a sad fusion of earth and sadturn is what i was hoping for

For any of my fellow Americans wondering about an easy way to remember Celsius temperatures, use this handy rhyme:
    30's hot, 20's nice, 10's not, and 0's ice.

@19:27: "Black Hole Sun, won't you come, and wash away the rain?...."
  • 3:31 Love the logic being presented here. It's like "I need to lose weight." "Why bother? The Sun's going to explode someday." "You're right! Might as well go on that fried onion binge! Grizzlebees, here I come!""

Huh, so... seems that previous gen sci-fi animes were correct after all. Earth is sustainable with only a half-ring of asteroids.
Any more than that and it's like a summer hat for the earth. Keeping it cool. FREEZING COOL

The rings start to look like the spiral arms of the Milky Way, they even start to form a bar structure by 8:30.
12:30 onward : That's tidal disruption. The Sun start to affect the rings more than Sadturn.
  • The reason why the min temperature is so low is because the rings of saturn (or sadturn) are debris made of rock/ice and/or dust.

This blocks the sun's rays from getting to sadturn, so the middle of sadturn would be extremely cold since the rings block the sun's rays.

    Hope this helps!

It's always a good sign when the orbits TURN 90 DEGREES
  • @19:18 The sounds of Soundgardens Blackhole Sun can be heard emminating from the edge of the black hole..😂🥃

20:15 For your reference, the Schwarzchild radius refers to basically the distance between the singularity and the event horizon, and it is currently at 0.494 AU (astronomical units), which is half the distance between the earth and the sun normally. Compared to the largest black hole in our galaxy, Sagittarius a*, which has a 0.08 AU Schwarzchild radius, it is much much larger, but is still really small compared to the supermassive black holes which have event horizons which are more than a thousand AU from its singularity. According to my own (interested in astronomy, has only the knowledge from videos and online searches, no formal education) understanding

When I saw Gray add rings to Earth, I didn't expect the ending would be the Sun eating everything in the galaxy.
I should have learned ages ago to expect the unexpected from Gray :V

I like how Gray is returning to the older titles. Now it will be awesome if he will also start SimsFloridaManEllisDeeColonoBlueCheeseBethBabRossClairDanesDeeMinusfloCainenopantsPeasesTimTonsilsWhitleyTommyWenisSpleens2FullLiquorBar, MinecraftReginaldMCGrayReginald2Reginald3Reginald4stevecryCarbs and different Tycoon games, such as Roller Coaster where physics do whatever it wants NoPhysicsMoreZerosRookieNoZeros😊

Saturn: "STOP MAKING FUN OF ME!!"

Us: "Shut up Sadturn! Nobody loves you!"

Grey going back to universe sandbox, really glad to see this
  • @spirtheperson
lesson: if you get married and then get divorced too many times, all the rings from those relationships combine into a blackhole that destroys the galaxy
  • @19TheFallen
There actually is a planet they discovered with just about this many rings around it. It's called J1407B (although, some astronomers argue it may be a brown dwarf), and has such a large ring system that if you took Saturn out of the equation and replaced it with J1407B, it would appear in our night's sky at the same size as the moon!
