Over the years, there have been some laughably weak main characters starring in video games, characters who you're almost embarrassed to be controlling. In this series, I'll show footage of these characters' greatest feats of "power".
Deciding on characters to feature in this series isn't always easy; just because someone is weak in one way or another, it doesn't mean they're useless, and no series is this more apparent than with Fire Emblem, as you'll see in the video.
Warning: Contains massive spoilers for Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

There's something else hilariously ironic about Gareth's situation I've only just realized. Throughout the rest of the game, Micaiah has been a very frail unit, due to her terrible HP, Defence and below-average Speed. However, not only does she has a very high amount of Resistance, (Her Resistance growth is 90%) none of the enemies in the second-last battle will even attack her!

Okay, putting Lucius on 2:57 was fucking gold. I lost it there.

...Thank God I wasnt the only one who thought Lucius was a woman. I gave him a serene and modest womany voice and when I heard the characters call him a he I pretty much laughed out loud at that point

If I remember correctly, Gareth also gets hilariously little screen time in both PoR and RD. The most he ever gets are I think 2 speaking lines and one still image in PoR and then that one line of dialog in RD.

I feel like Lyre is even worse. I mean, Cat laguz are the weakest laguz in FE10 because of their pathetic bar, low strength and bad defense, and since she's a laguz, her growths are also pretty mediocre... and so are her base stats... geez at least Gareth can be a support char. with blood tide, Lyre can't even do that...

That's what I loved about old FE games, amusingly shitty characters. That and characters with a defined role. FE10 has tons of weird pointless characters that are fun to try and make them useful.

Power Estimation 1. Gareth (Extremely high HP and power makes for superb skills!) 2. Alex Kidd (1 Hit, but can destroy cars & more by merely punching them) (Glass Cannon) 3. Anonymous (Zork) (While he gets killed by leaves, he still can: Battle trolls, scare off bats, and do what he does best.) 4. Great Devil (Fireballs mean business! 5. Bubsy (No Comment.) 6. Toad Man (Can still take newbies down with him) 7. Spelunker (At least he has a gun) 8. Ambulance (Atleast it can TRANSPORT someone, even a little risky.) 9. Dizzy (Can take a little damage) (Egg's Durability) 10. Peeper (They can atleast tackle you) 11. Prince Duncan(?) (Everything weak) 12. Jogurt (What the hell) 13. Bob the Fish (Can't even tap you) 14. Wanderin Goom (Negative Power? What gives?)

As weak as Maria is, her 0 luck is actually a good thing cause FE 11 AI LOVES 0 Luck units. They are programmed to go for 0 luck units. Just give her a few Dracoshields and make her a myrm, and she'll be great AI bait, though Mathis does this better in my opinion.

The weakest character in the series statwise is most definitely Lara from Thracia 776: 14 hp 0 strength 0 magic (functions as res in that game) 1 skill 10 speed 6 luck 0 defense 3 build (functions as constution, basically) Her only saving grace is that she promotes into a dancer (no, you don't just get one. Thracia 776, remember?) and guess what her promotion 'bonusses' for that are: -1 skill -5 speed

Honestly, I have to say this about Gareth. He's a Dragon! Apart from Kurth since he's a royal Black Dragon, Dragons are notorious for being slow. It's kind of unfair then to be pinning a speed problem on him when the race as a whole are naturally slow. Apart from that, I agree with you completely about him. What point is there in having him in the game when he appears when he'll just be slaughtered by the might of magic? Geez, all that strength and he's still extremely worthless. I guess the old adage saying that strength isn't everything is true.
