Getting that much science into 17 minutes of national television is an achievement all by itself.

I love how Neil when still gets excites like a 14-year boy on sugar rush on science explanation

Gotta admit Stephen’s counter argument got me a little hype😂

I love it when these two get together. You can tell they're having fun with the whole thing.

I feel like they probably don’t have a lot of spare time between their full time gigs for something like this, but I’d LOVE for Tyson & Colbert to do a full TV series together. Their chemistry is so good, and Tyson is never not enthralling to listen to. Make it a show about space or whatever really, I doesn’t matter, I just want a weekly show with them interacting with each other. I’d pay good money for that.

What Stephen said about the "thinking creature starting the process" was so freaking good. This is so deep I can't believe we are not talking about this shit every day.
  • After watching this and then talking to Scientists at the University. "You know, I'm something of a scientist myself."

6:32 well that’s another GIF for the archive if I ever saw one. And about 50% of said archive consists of Neil DeGrasse Tyson already; the man is like a treasure trove for these things.

2:04 I definitely love this type of argument: sounds like arguing, but it is funny and straight to the point all at the same time. There should be WAY more like this everywhere.
  • I just love him. He makes me fall more and more in love with astronomy.

I love how much fun Stephen is having here.

Turns out it didn’t actually follow the hyperbolic trajectory perfectly like Neil said—it deviated by about 0.1% near the Sun. But, the small deviation is consistent with the effects of solar radiation pressure, so it still doesn’t seem to have accelerated by any artificial means
