Insane that this is Dafoe and Burton’s first time working together
  • I get the feeling that the character of Rory might be Astrid's father, possibly divorced from Lydia. It would explain why he's there at the funeral, to support his daughter and ex, and explain why both him and Lydia were pulled into a 'therapy' session with Beetlejuice.
  • Fun Fact: O'hara is married to the production designer of the first film, Bo Welch who also did the production design for Edward Scissorhands and Batman Returns.

"Im gonna make you so happy!" Was definitely a reference to the cartoon, as was the photo on the desk. If they tie them together I will be happy.

The Beetlejuice ‘bugging out’ face actually more resembles the Large Marge scene from Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, also directed by Tim Burton (RIP Paul Reubens) 😢

The 3rd movie is going to be called Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice 😂😂😂

Just a heads-up, "The juice is loose" is not a phrase coined *after he murdered Nicole Wallace Smith, it comes from B4, during his football days as a running back for the Buffalo Bills. Whenever he would breakout of the backfield & make a run downfield, sportscasters would declare "the Juice is loose!".

Lydia talks about can the living coexist with the dead. At the end of the first film Charles Dietz is reading a large book or magazine and its title is “The Living and The Dead, Harmonious Lifestyles and peaceful co-existence”

I do hope we get an explanation as to where Barbara and Adam went. Unless they are surprise cameos that we won’t know about but in order to do that properly, they would have to use so much CGI de-aging to make it seem like they haven’t changed at all since the first movie.

We need a Alex Brightman cameo in the movie! I cannot wait for this to come out
  • @Firelance2361
If the Maitlands don’t get a mention in this movie, we gon riot
  • @MrEnigma1221
I still kind of feel like they’re naming Beetlejuice Beetlejuice because they’re intending to make a third
  • Betelguese's wife (Monica Belucci) looks like Sally from Nightmare before Christmas with the stitches everywhere.

"The Juice is Loose" isn't referring to OJ. It's a callback to the original line "Now let's turn on the juice and see what shakes loose."
  • @mikefetta6796
Looks like the eyes and tongue scene may be a reference to a popular beetlejuice action figure I had back in the day. A switch on his back made them shoot out like that.

I used to watch Beetlejuice so much on VHS growing up to where I nearly wore down the tape. I cannot wait for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice! 🪲
