Wow. Congratulations Gerwyn. You deserve it. 13 perfect darts at tops? Incredible. I couldn't believe my eyes when he missed 11 match darts but the pressure of a world final is like none other. But he pulled through and is now World Number 1, and so richly it has been deserved. Gary had a few chances but he didn't take them often enough. I'm glad he got this far though and hopefully shut Wayne Mardle up... but I'm not holding my breath on that. Still. What a world championship we've been treated to. Shocks, quality, you name it. Hopefully things are better next year and the fans are able to return. Until then, take care everybody. 🙂
