Kid is nervous, Sits down, doesn't waste a second, starts Moonlight Sonata
-
Wtf he didn’t even warm up. Went pro mode in a blink of an eye.
-
Kid casually walks to the piano, starts with 3rd movement…what a mad lad.
-
Whoever got him that cocktail is a legend. Such a simple show of appreciation.
-
"Trust me. Everyone wants to hear you play piano."
-
The Piano: Don't stop. I've never been touched like this before.
-
Believe me, anyone would feel lucky to hear any instrument played this well out of nowhere. Even if its not there taste, they will admire the dedication and hard work
-
To the dude playing piano - Most of us are THRILLED to witness something like that. We're idiots. You grew up playing, we didn't. You're a gift to the rest of us. Thanks for making music accessible.
-
Let’s all be honest, we all wish we could be sitting at a public piano and performing this good.
-
Let's just appreciate that the waiter gave him a free drink
-
I'm not a pianist, but I think it's mighty impressive when somebody plays this good without a warm up and without notes even.
-
Second piece - Rachmaninoff Prelude in C Sharp minor. My father was a concert pianist, played it, and taught it to me. Love hearing it. A great and emotional piece.
-
His palms are sweaty but he's calm and ready
-
Now thats a parent that is damn proud of how skilled his son is. And lets be honest, most good stories either end or start with a free drink

Hey to all you musically talented people out there.... if you're reading this, please dont stop sharing your gift with the rest of us. I cant sing and I have no rhythm, but I want to hear your talent as it fills me with emotion. Share your gift.

This performance is literally fantastic, I can tell you on behalf of myself being a piano player, that the apprehension to actually play for people is so real. And then you do yourself a disservice by rushing tempos here or slowing down there, it's just a beautiful thing to see him go through that hole piece and feel those ups and downs of the pressure. 10/10 performance, he's right where he's supposed to be.

He looks so insecure but on the stool... he is the king.

Back in the good ol' days when corona was just a beer on the menu.

This is hard to express in the comments section, but the transition from a shy, unsure son to fully committing to an absolute amazing performance is really inspiring to see. Around the 5:00 minute mark in particular, I feel he is in his comfort zone and really giving 100% to the song. It is truly inspirational to see. Full commitment and a fantastic piano player. Respect to you young man

I love the fact that his father was reassuring him at the beginning that everyone would enjoy his performance. He just needed that extra push of encouragement to surprise everyone with his amazing talent.
