Laura is so spot on about Jesus. When we acquired him there was analytics that said based on his scoring output vs usage with man city we might be addding a dynamic goal scorer if we gave him a full time role. it has been utterly disappointing with availability and output

Not to say we’ll do this in one window, but a certified LB, a left 8, solid backup for Rice and a striker is what we need. We need a pool of 16 top players to win the league. We currently have 11/12. City’s squad is very thin when they have a few injuries, but i truly believe their ability to rotate almost every week explains their good injury record.

Some of the panel saying that we cant be experimenting from game 1. But didn't Rice, Havertz and Timber started game 1? For now, those players would be considered the best starting 11. But back then, we didn't know if they would be considered that. Even when the season was on the way, many, many fans were saying that playing with Havertz is like playing with 10 men. So even then, some fans still didn't consider him a starter. And we do not know the issue with Gabriel at the start of the season.

Glad we didn’t have to go to VAR to check clear if he did finish the 10th one 😂 IMO MA needs to remain willing to experiment, or even be more willing. It’s not so much the changes that led to some points dropped (outside of outlier situations like the disgrace vs Newcastle), rather it’s the continued difficulty with mid blocks. When the opposing team has set up to remain stubborn in not budging, we just don’t have the unlock. Sticking to the same plan all season long IMO is not going to be the pathway to beating Pep to the finish line. It also breeds fear, stress into 38 games. AFC has long been at their best when creativity is flowing. Be free and fly IMO is the way to go. Being fixed is IMO a phase 5 thing. When you have your KDBs, Silvas bedded in, and the squad has had a number of trophy lifts. MA and Edu this summer IMO need to reinforce the squad to expand what AFC can deal with. Whether that’s academy promotion or signings. When teams try to match us (E.g. a Brighton type), we tend to outmatch them. So expanding to deal with mid blocks, and to continue to keep pace vs “top 6” IMO is the right play

My fave moment was beating city at home for sure felt like the moment we went from the little brother to the man of the house

Thank you FK and panel. For the whole season. Even if I cant catch the pod live, Ill catch a day or 2 later. At times, even a week after, if Im so busy. Thank you for all the laughs

Another point about cups, we need to learn to navigate cup competitions and how to play knock out football, this is something Arteta is yet to prove to me he can do, we were not good against Porto and Bayern, appalling vs west ham and certainly unlucky against Liverpool. We need to rack up them trophies now, this ‘project’ is due to be handed into the teacher!

Watched the stream this morning - sorry I couldn't catch you live. I enjoyed going and watching the highlights of those great moments this season! Enjoy the break

Great season everyone. We go again in just a short few weeks. The league will be ours!

I don't get it. Persons in the panel talking about Arteta should take the cups seriously, and we have a big enough squad. Didn't Arteta rotate a lot in the cups, and got knocked out? ESR had a MOTM against a depleted Luton side. Does that make him a shoo in to start the next match? He was one of the ones that was rotated in. He isnt a starter in this side.
  • Next season is ours. I trust us to make the signings that'll help get us over the line.

Last season felt for some reason worse than this year. I was not sure last season if we were maybe just another Leicester City in good form with one tournament to play. But competing this season and also making signings to do so (like Rice) makes me optimistic for next season. we have a consistently good team and the owners that believe in the manager and team. We go again next season I feel we will be better in all competitions. Last season we lost it. This season we had to be perfect second half of the season which was going to be impossible. Thanks for the shows season this was another good season to follow. We shall have our day in the sun eventually.

For the “no time for snacks” crew they start talking about Arsenal at 16:15 😂

The real batshit signing has to be Leo Messi. So many reasons it doesn’t work but the magic would be worth it
  • @MrTkeddo
It’s just depressing knowing that Man United who were a laughing stock win a trophy and have the bragging rights over Arsenal
  • @teebone9176
As you guys sit there drooling over Man City and praising their run in, look at the team's they played none of them apart from Forest had anything to play for, honestly do me a favour...
  • @olu9983
Am sorry but the conversation in the boardroom is not that FA Cup and Carabao are our goals. You keep saying that Man City is the standard yet you say we should rotate like them without the spend or quality in depth like them!!! This team nissan built to Win the big 2. And if you believe Man U has had a better season than us, then next season, if we finish 8th and win the FACup are you satisfied? Wake up. We can't rotate as effectively as Man City. Simple. That's the area of improvement
