It’s just the style of the bag. It’s just like the LV neverfull. It’s supposed to be not structured. Some people like that style of bag and some don’t . It’s just up to you. The bag will last it’s just not structured.

My LV Neverfull is exactly like this tote. You can put a bag organizer and it’ll give it shape. I prefer soft bags for totes, because it’s more comfortable for me. I say keep, I like how it doesn’t have structure, but in the end you have to be happy girl!

The material looks canvas, and the user expects it to be lightweight unlike leather. Canvas bags like LV neverfull and Goyard Saint Louise do not have structure. They are meant to collapse against the body.

I’ve seen a couple complain about the quality of this new city tote. It seems that Coach may have cut corners and used cheaper or less material. The print is gorgeous without a doubt.

I just bought a city tote on the outlet a few days ago. The material should be coated canvas however to me it feels like a thin vinyl. I think they are cutting back and using cheaper materials. It might be a cheap vinyl.. 😢. Not sure however, you can feel the thinnesses and it feels cheap. I’ve bought other purses and items off the coach outlet and the material feels different than the city tote bag. The tote feel thin and cheap while the other purses I purchased from the outlet feels thick and coach quality.. not sure what they are doing however, us the consumers and see and feel the difference..I bought a tote off Amazon for 20 dollars and the vinyl feel thicker, it has a shape and feel more durable than the coach city tote I just bought on line a few days ago.

It think the softer the canvas the better. LV totes are like that too,I do have another Canvas tote from Coach but it was so hard, frankly it felt like Plastic. I like the softer Canvas. Any the way that bag is not leather,it’s Canvas....

I also have this bag and like that it's not super structured then it's too bulky for carrying a tote and it's much lighter with the "thin" canvas. It still doesn't feel cheap to me 🤷‍♀️ and I have an lv neverfull which is also "thin" and $2000 so for $200 this is good

I bought the bag insert and love it. I knew it was squishy since it was canvas. The leather ones are more structured. Good luck!

It’s supposed to be flimsy. The gallery tote is a more structured tote. Buy the coach insert babe ! ❤️

I agree with what others said, def try a bag organizer. I have one in a LV Neverfull and one in a Coach bag similar to yours (a Halloween edition). It def helps with keeping a good shape. The cherries are so cute! I would keep her.

Think that's the difference between leather/lined canvas/unlined canvas. Unlined canvas is usually flimsy.

Return the bag but keep the wristlet babe. That tote is definitely too flimsy, although the print is cute. I wouldn’t keep it babe. It won’t last.

That is so sad. I can't believe they sold and marketed that bag for that price and quality. Just when I was loving on your leopard city tote and wishing I had one to go with my wristlet. I hope they are paying attention to customer complaints.

Also the city tote is from coach OUTLET over there they sell low quality and cheaper bags but they are still good bags. I don’t really mind the bag being flimsy lol

Oh, also forgot to mention. If I'm not mistaken my SA told me that this bag isn't all leather I think it's like a hybrid of leather so that's why it so flymsy. Hence it called. "Coated canvas" with leather details my SA didn't exactly say its not all leather but if you know your leathers you know it's not leather. Also these chip off the canvas on the bottom corners and you end up seeing why it's a hybrid
