    What you can do if you are stuck in the wild unexpectedly and you dont have string, you could take the shoelace off of your shoe and use it as a string to build the bow

    the most critical thing that was not explained is the importance of using the correct woods for this method...without this information you could spend your life trying to start a fire this way to no effect..the explanation of the technique was great though
