Roy killed it šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„ what a moving tribute to his mom & dad in journalism.
  • Roy acknowledging and paying tribute to his Mom and Dad was very powerful and well deserved. Very impressive.
  • He had a very good set. Played to the audience and got laughs all across the board. I've never seen a comic interweave good storytelling, facts and humor all at the same time. Well done sir.

"Don't groan...pass legislation," was the best line of the evening.

This man demonstrated free speech, and the president enjoyed it. Well done America!

Roy not pulling any punches and still telling important facts. Love it.
  • Best ever balance of thoughtfulness and humour at one of these WH corespondents dinner so far.
  • Well done. Class act. Hit on the critical topics. Not mean spirited. Held up a higher standard for us all. Good luck to you, sir.
  • Yeah this was one of the best correspondents speeches! He criticized and brought truth to power while making jokes! Great job Roy!!!
  • I was not super familiar with this person, but he has delivered the best monologue at Correspondence Dinners... in my opinion. I like that both Republicans and Democrats were laughing... and both Republicans and Democrats were frowning!!! Well done, Sir!

To be able to speak about your parents and strangers react that way must be really hard not to brake down and cry...big ups to Roy
  • ā€œIā€™m like Mitch McConnell ā€¦I ainā€™t got no soulā€ šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

So many clever jokes but the way he wrapped up Clarence Thomas back to the NFT was fantastic.
