Hello everyone and welcome to the first Side Quest for the Library of Dragons Readathon, a D&D inspired, Choose Your Own Adventure like readathon that I created and am hosting. This Side Quest starts March 1st and is completely optional, but if you want to get your Trust points up and bond with your dragon, this is the time to do it.
I will also be going over Character Sheets in this video to complete and finish them off to prepare us for the upcoming Chapters.

I know what xp is! I’m so proud!! (Please note this is the last time I will feel that emotion for the rest of the video.) Character sheets sound fun, do we get to pick costumes…oh, oh no. Classes aren’t like…princess, fae, siren, vampire…oh no. This is…I have no idea what these things are. I don’t want a weapon. I don’t need a weapon, I have a DRAGON. A PINK and SPARKLY dragon. We’re gonna HEAL people. Oh man I am so not prepared for this. And WHY ARE THERE NUMBERS NOW?! Points? Why do I need points, Ash? Is there gonna be math??? The maps are gorgeous, you put so much work into this, I am SUPER impressed and you did an INCREDIBLE job. I love that you’re including diversity, I’ve realized I’ve done such an awful job reading a wide range of authors and this is just so great, I haven’t seen any other readathons include this (and no one can complain because it’s for BONUS points). Also joke’s on you with the room temperature food thing being hard because I’m a mom and by the time I get to any food or beverage…it’s probably room temperature. And if not, PB&J remains one of my favorite foods because…sometimes I share a palate with my preschooler.

6:22 I like explaining DnD classes to people as their character's profession/ field of expertise . I feel like it converts the idea pretty neatly. 7:34 Con based sorcerers, oh my?! I mean this does make more sense than traditional charisma based ones, but now I'm gonna run and finish the video to see if you explain how hp will work (or if it is there at all). And if it is like in normal dnd 5e, than...

im usinig my weapon as a trident cause im going off my magical readathon character and my class is a druid cause she is a beast master, waiting for march to pick my tbr and depending on what my tbr is will determine which map i go with
