  • Tommy is a fantastic nuanced character, but he’s unstable & decompensating as the series goes on. He’s exceptional in voice, movement, and in portraying shame, pride, anger, etc.
  • @ayandey137
The way she was murdered needs anger but in a very articulated way. Tommy, well is he that articulated? Rusty and Nico seem the type of people that can do something like this. But they can't, right? One weird theory, It was kyle who bludgeoned her to death, and then Rusty came back and saw it (kyle still present) and covered up the murder, and since he was drunk he can't recollect those memories
  • @k-em4jp
Tommy wanted to cry on Episode one🤕 finding out about her and Rusty. I think he loved her. Rusty knows who killed her but blocked out the memory
  • Barbara should leave Rusty doe. Like she is making things worse by cheating and emotionally cheating at that. She as well is just as delusional as Rusty. How does she really think things will go back to normal after all the things Rusty has done but I digress.
  • The show wants us to believe that maybe Tommy did it. However, imo Barbara is way too calm about this entire ordeal. You really think Barbara didn't know that the affair started up again..think again. Why did Rusty say to his wife in the previous ep that she plays some part in this ... Maybe he is protecting her ...because Barbara was also there that night.. Rusty is not innocent at all
  • Rusty is so outrageous and quite insane. He is doing too much at this point. The whole Bryan thing can be a little far fetched but like Mya said “that is not our case”. Rusty is trying so hard to get a fall guy instead of letting the ppl he HIRED to represent him to work. It’s so frustrating seeing how self centered and careless he is. Personally, it’s pissing me off 😭😭😭. Now I can see how Tommy can be a suspect as well but my eyes are on possibly Barbara or even the son.
  • If I lived near Rusty’s house, I’d move! Cops, fist fights, home searches, scrubbing bikes in the middle of the night…Geeze! And he’s worried about a light bulb?
  • I have read a lot of speculation about Raymond but I can't see Carolyn being attracted to him as a lover. Certainly not as compared to her attraction to Rusty, who is closer to her in age, stage and physicality. I definitely see Tommy as having the potential to think he had a chance with her and I do believe that he was obsessed with her and extremely jealous of Rusty in more ways than just his relationship with Carolyn. He wants to replace Rusty, romantically and professionally. He has both the ambition and the drive but he is paranoid and has become unhinged over this case. Whether or not it is because he is the killer or was involved in her murder. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he was the driving force somehow.
  • Love the actor who’s playing Ray. He’s bright, down to earth and real. Love his look and his delivery of complicated dialogue. He’s extraordinary!
  • @loladiaz3534
I think Rusty was at Bryan’s house trying to find the murder weapon
  • Love how Gyllenhale keeps taking showers and encountering the rain. Baptism after baptism after cleansing after purification events. A little too often. It became distracting.
  • @CJB44
It's Raymond! have a feeling that the second sperm sample from the Bunny Davis case is Raymond's. It's possible since she was a prostitute that Raymond was the customer before Liam Reynolds. Carolyn sees this in the file and hides it, later confronting Raymond with that evidence. If that gets out it seriously jeopardizes his reelection . We've gotten to know Carolyn's character and I wouldn't put it past her to hold that over Raymond's head for promotion. So he has to take out the only person that could expose him. It's possible he knew about the affair and it was an easy way for all the evidence to point towards Rusty, but it would never be conclusive enough to convict him.
  • @flyconcepts
I think it’s the wife, or Tommy. I hope it’s not the son of Rusty
  • @jayjaymejia4149
The wife is the real suspect in the original. FYI! Seems to me that they have gone a different route with the remake. Possibly the son of rusty and barbs super sus of him to get rid of the bike
  • @mob4336
Concentrating on the wife and the bartender is such a silly ridiculous add on…
  • @FreakyButChill
I’m kinda curious what did the bike in the trash mean? Wasn’t that the bike the wife was just washing down at 3 am last episode? Why was Tommy looking at that evidence of Carolyn like he was bout to freaky in the office? I don’t really care for the affair with Barbar n the bartender it’s dragged out now! The whole family kinda weird honestly son been acting strange and it looks like the mom is covering for him and the daughter is kinda just there always like 😢idk how much screen time she had but I’m tired of seeing her already! Just want to see rusty lose his mind
  • Hi Elliott, great review. I'm leaning toward Jaden, the daughter now. The therapy session was telling, the way Barbara expressed to the therapist how she felt Jaden was judging her. We may find out that the DNA findings were wrong or falsified. Just noodling.
  • @HiThere-tv2bd
Rusty told the Assistant Lawyer that when he left Carolyn's house her kiss goodbye seemed "cruel". That was his last thought of her. What if he went home (metadata showed he arrived home at 11pm) but took his son's bike back to her house (that's why no blood is in his car as Raymond mentioned) and he left his phone at home so no evidence that he left. Tha'ts why he's so freaked out the bike. Evidence he didn't anticipate being seen near her house is now photograhed because of the son. I can't understand why a high powered Prosecutor is always acting so clueless about the law unless it's on purpose to distract from the fact that he did it.
