Thanks for showing your mistakes. Makes me feel better about the ones I make. It’s the art of overcoming that makes a craftsman

1:20 - minor tip on blue tape labeling. Fold one of the tape corners inward on itself. Then you have a nice little tab for pulling it back off later. I've accidentally gouged or scraped finished pieces because I applied a tape label fully flush to the wood and couldn't get it off later without resorting to a knife edge.

19:20 - a digital whiteboard can be used as a monitor. It would let you not only whiteboard ideas, but you could flip the input over to your PC for displaying Sketchup or Fusion diagrams, or even just websurfing or watching TV on a third input. Having a large visual display would be a great way to mock up designs and then present/display them to clients (fellas note: your wife is ALWAYS Client #1) and get their feedback. Better than everyone crouching around a tiny laptop screen.
  • Now that I also make videos where I work the iron I understand how time-consuming it is to make videos of this kind, not to mention material and editing, doubly good for these videos🔥🔥🔥
  • Great build and video as always! Quick Safety tip: Be careful with what you plug into the outlets on the top of the desk. The Netgear outlet can get incredibly hot if it is pulling too much power. Had one that was in a room with a PC plugged into it and the thing nearly melted the plastic casing.

I like that you displayed that you still have your thumbs after using the bandsaw to cut the toe kicks.
  • @adamd2064
The way you set the length for the toe kick on the bandsaw was brilliant. I’m stealing that
  • I've got to say dude, I'm obsessed with your channel. Your ideas are kickass, and the execution is phenomenal. I even like how you have the mistakes were made section of the video to show us that it's not always sunshine and rainbows. It's kind of humbling actually, because it usually frustrates me to my wits end when I have mistakes, but watching your channel reminds me that I need to just roll with it, fix it, and keep going. I love supporting people that I think deserve it. And you my friend, definitely deserve it. I bought your 31 plan bundle, and can't wait to build some cool things with those. Keep kicking butt and taking names brother!
  • @ibeauf
Wow that little magnetic bandsaw stop is cool! It’s the simple things
  • The things I would do to spend a week with you in your shop learning and building cabinets! Keep up the great work and thank you for always inspiring us newbies!
  • @wyanrard
Send those old shelves this way ! Hahah. The replacement cabinet is awesome !
  • @royalrbp3132
You just put YouTube editing skills on another level!! Does anyone else agree?
  • @FearsomeWarrior
For the blank wall maybe a medicine cabinet with half whiteboard and half cork-board. Shallow/low-profile so it only sticks out as needed for whatever you want to store in there. Maybe a nice lower portion for holding office basics like markers for the board, pins for the cork, stapler for the stapling, and scissors. Bring some stuff off the table.
  • @pdenton
Dude, your B-roll/montage sequences are so much fun.
  • @ShopNation
Very cool Brad, office is coming together nicely. Curious what you're thinking for that wall...maybe some cool art to keep you inspired in there??
  • @KaroCodes
So clean! Love it ❤ I'm just in a process of picking what kind of storage I want in my home office / recording studio so this is really inspiring! For the empty wall - I'd go with half glass white-board / half peg-board on which you can have some more cables and tools that you use often and maybe some wall-hung plants!
  • @LogicBob
This is the best way of doing ads! 👍
  • @makernova8160
Great work as always! I've been renovating my workshop and am trying to figure out what to do with my electronics / tech / maker goodies, so this gives me some good ideas. My vote for the wall above, maybe right above the printer, would be storage for 3D printing stuff - extra spools, tools, etc.
  • @johnstup4479
That turned out great! Way better looking than those garage storage shelves you had before. As for the wall behind the cabinets, maybe a tv, some pictures, a couple of floating shelves.
