In the helicopter he is telling how he crashed his Porsche 911. Luckily, he ordered the new model: the Porsche 911 2012

I always thought the character was 2/3 Muammar Gaddafi and 1/3 Saddam Hussein. Funny reaction.

The marathon thing actually happened in reality but not in arab country but in Turkmenistan. Ruling dictatir participated in horse riding. He failed from horse, but still was declared as winner
  • @DRaquascapes
The speech that he made when he ripped the constitution...HE DESCRIBED EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS IN AMERICA.. and yall said he described Algeria. 😂
  • @jayburn00
The dictator here is inspired by different crazy things different dictators have done. The ones primarily drawn from are Gaddafi, Idi Amin, Saddam Hussein, the Assads, a dictator of Kazakhstan, and Kim Jong Il

Elon literally used the "pointy rocket" line at spaceX... no joke
  • @rafaeluzt
It's so obvious that the character was a mix of Ghaddafi and Saddam, the women bodyguards and the golden weapons...

25:30 he's actualy speaking this sort of broken Hebrew there. it was so funny watching this as an israeli :D
  • Funny movie, i cant wait to watch. It seems you might be on your way to Borat. Lol.
  • @Brendissimo1
I've always thought he was primarily making fun of Gaddafi but there are probably a bunch of different influences for the character in there. It's cool hearing your perspective on the movie!
  • Yiddish is a germanic based language with lots of Hebrew lone-words spoken in European Jewish communities. Hebrew was already a mostly dead language by the time Jews got to most of Europe, I believe.
  • I think you guys understood this movie better than I did, and I've already seen it.
  • I'm glad you got to experience the dictator, I showed this movie to my best friend Louis when we were at my dad's. I also recommend taking a look at Bruno and Borat those movies are a hilarious and crazy experience. I'm not sure if Sacha Baron Cohen is crazy or a mad genius, I know one thing I'm glad that he's around to make these kind of comedy movies. Have a nice day guys.

I have so much respect for you for being open to laugh at this silly movie.. it only proves that comedy brings people together if people are open minded and not offended
