    This match was certainly something. I was spectating it, until I was asked to join and fill the last slot for the 8 player team. At first I was spectical as zombean could keep up with the APM of 8 players, but was suprised for how quickly zombean swept the frontline (In the real game, everything felt faster and more rushed, as in spectating mode, on which you can see everything). I already felt like I shouldn't eco as much and bring our units early and it paid off. I had hounds and some anti air and was able to hold off some of the aggression. After my commander fell in front of my base, I started getting rezbots out to rez the commander. I think it wasn't rezzed when zombean attacked the last naval commander. So it was actually pretty close! They almost won :D I also liked all the insight you gave in your casting on zombeans side. There were quite some spectators that tried it afterwards too (Including strong players like Reetzweet) but Zombean got the closest in victory (At least for the time I spectated the matches) You should give it a try next stream :D I think quite many cheeky tactics could be used with 8 coms

    Came for the thumbnail, stayed for the unusual action. Good fight from blue, playing alone with so many things to take care of requires a level of apm most people don't suspect. I didn't think he'd manage to get rid of so many oponents before falling.

    I really enjoyed this. It showcases the power of a "perfect" communism build. Effectively, the raw efficiency in being able to push 100% of your teams resources into projects gets them done way faster, allowing you to punish the effective "greed" of the other team (since they need more resources to each get their own labs, get their own infrastructure, and then begin making units). I think if Zombean had had a better plan going in, and really pushed that aggression early and mid, he would have won quite handily. The 8 have to overwhelm with splinter attacks, but the 1 has a big hammer the entire game. They just have to keep smashing bases, because as soon as they stop they will be overwhelmed.

    This was pretty awesome, definitely something that'd be awesome to see more often 😊Zombean really started showing signs of fatigue, he had this in the bag for a long time.
  • Fun cast! You said it right at the end, more aggression and a quicker T2 transition and he would have taken it.

    This is just "more stuff beats less stuff" in extreme: blue cleverly focused on taking down one base at a time with overwhelming force. But of course, all that came at the cost of not having enough APM to ecoscale. Sad.

    at 28:00 you can see him scout the exact path that you marked and he decided against going that way. I'm not sure why but just saying he did scout it and decided against that move.

    this is my SupCom brain talking, but would a strategy of just selecting all the coms and marching forward be a good one? of course after they all build a factory and couple power gens

    i tried this also but everyone was 20+ os including izaon and humblegar who chose to bomber rush me, made it almost impossible u have so many flanks to cover. the game for the 8 players is just to create as many distractions as possible, and the 1 player has to use his eco advantage to insane heights but i tell u it gets hard , maybe thats why in the past we have seen this whit like the 8 people all being under 20 os or something
