The measurements for this antenna I got from this website w4.vp9kf.com/moxon_design.htm. You have to take in consideration that the measurements were done with bare wire, if you will use wire with insulation like me that will be slightly off.

Hi Almir, you have done a nice job, now get it to the cottage before the wife hangs washing on it! 73

Pelo sotaque acho que você é brasileiro também! Projeto lindo, parabéns! Muitos DX pra você! Ps.: I suspect you are Brazilian too. If not, I meant beautiful project, I wish you tons of DX with it!

Nice project! The only portable (and easy to use) way I can think of to get it higher is the metal Spiderbeam telescopic pole (not that cheap, though). The fibreglass one wouldn't support the flex you'd induce from the long arms, and you would prob want to guy it, but I bet it would work really well, since you're already hitting E Europe from a low height installation in your backyard! The Moxons are cool, basically a 2 el Yagi with folded ends. I like the F/B ratio on them. (when you're not making videos, I find using even cheap $30 Sony headphones really helps me out a lot, compared to the stock speakers).
  • Hello my friend! the Moxon is the best directional antenna for starters, with the Moxon I started in the world of the DX around 15 years ago, I hope hear you in the air. 73 de KS5Y

Hello, Almir. Excellent job especially since it's only a few feet off the ground. I'm about to start a Moxon project for 20 meters and I came across your video. Presently, I have a mini-yogi but with the longer elements of the Moxon I expect to get better gain. What did you use for the spreader poles? Hope to hear you on the air - 73 Brad N1JV

Nice work! What type of fiberglass poles did you use?

Nice work Almir that antenna out in the field , higher and in the clear is going to work wonders for you. That test wasn't really fair to the antenna low and surrounded by houses , still you were able to make contacts amazing. 73's watching in NYC really enjoy your videos.
