My grandmother used the butter wrap to grease her baking pans, just like you did. πŸ‘
  • These hacks are fantastic! I've seen a LOT of kitchen hack videos. This is the first one that actually had anything new that I hadn't already seen before. I learned several new hacks, in fact! Thanks!

The butter/veg peeler trick alone was worth the price of admission.
  • @anitakinnear6735

Though I've known many of the hacks here, I will admit I did learn a lot. This is by far one of the best videos I 've seen on hacks.
  • @lindaowens65

The parsley hack with the jar is amazing !! G'day from Australia
  • @TeachKathy
It’s not necessary to remove greens from their bin, just add paper towel to top of green and replace top. Store bin upside down in refrigerator. When using greens, replace paper towel with new sheet. Keeps greens crisp for much longer. Love the useful hints!
  • @lindajacquot5391
I thought I knew a lot of kitchen tricks, but I am in awe of you! Thank you for so many new techniques to try!
  • @lisashoemaker9037
Pasley in a glass then put a jar over it would work for other fresh herbs. Also loved the wisk to transfer hard boiled eggs.
  • @koalasez1200
These are great!!! Will be trying the 'drop the eggs into the bowl' tomorrow! That trick for cutting chicken for crisps and frying them for a salad is wonderful. So many tips to try! Thank you for sharing :)

Update - tried the egg drop trick. It worked perfectly!!!

For opening a stubborn jar, run the lid part of the jar under hot water. The heat will expand the metal. If you lay the jar on its' side, you can keep your hands from getting under the hot water. Also a rubber glove or rubber grip to open works.

I learnt the trick of saving butter wrappers to grease pans from my grandmother, back in the 70s. Now that I buy butter in tubs, I do it by folding up a bit of kitchen paper & scraping it in the butter.
