Simulating a desert for 100 days using 150 gallon used tank. It's home to crickets, lizards, scorpions, spiders, toads and much more!! Some I didn't even put in there. Even has cacti flowers and a desert rose.
Watch as it goes from a bare wasteland to a thriving ecosystem to Mother Nature has other plans..

This ecosystem is filmed over 100 days and took months to edit it all together!

"I never had the money, nor the space, nor time... but today I do" that's so beautiful to hear... that gave me goose bumps

I genuinely thought I was watching a video made by someone with millions of subs. Amazing content for your size, hopefully you get the recognition and exposure you deserve.

That ant is, yes, a queen ant. It is Solenopsis Geminata (Tropical Fire Ant) and ghey can grow to millions in 4-9 months.

Had me hooked the first 15 seconds into the video, like other people have said before I was expecting hundreds of thousands if not millions of subscribers. Excited to see where this goes from 7k subs. Good job and good luck!

Extremely underrated content, Extraordinary detail, and keeping the viewers entertained by communication, as well as not using overly sophisticated language. I love your jokes, and especially the one where you called the toads fat and lazy. 😂 Love your channel, and you just got my like and sub. ❤

The ant is a Queen fire ant, it got in there from the colony's nuptial flight (when they send their elates the future queens, and male elates to mate then male dies from getting the queen fertilized) and the elates fly out of colony to find a place to build it's own colony. Then it takes its wings off to signify that it has found it's home.

This is an amazing set up! Can you explain a little more on how you set up your watering system for the rainstorms?

This is great. I want to do something like this but without the flooding. I live in FL now and have 150 gallon fish tank but I'm moving to AZ and was trying to decide what I should with my tank..kind of want to something more deserty. So this was a great inspiration!

Your commentary is hilarious, the part where the toad spat out the isopod had me dying. Great video, and cool set up.
