Trolling is wearing all Hollow Soldier Armor as a level 1 dark wraith, and standing on the roof throwing fire bombs with the other hollows. Trolling is throwing dung at the host with LLoyd's Talisman's interspersed, making sure that they die slowly to the feces. Trolling is dropping an indictment then backstabbing them off a cliff as they pick it up. It's a creative process. This is just brute force twinking.

@tharbk01 Maybe because the first host was SL387. The invasion range is suppose to prioritize others within 10 levels + 10% of your level (at SL10, it should be SL1-21 range). When this range cannot be met, or you are invading in an area with no suitable matches, it can indeed stick you with players well over 100 levels beyond your own. Happens to me all the time (regardless of Cracked Red Eye Orb or Red Soul Soapstone use).

Burg is now a pvp site. Somebody invaded me today in the burg and I killed him with 3 hits - I guess he's a troller.

I recently ran a somewhat low (but not nearly this low) pvp build. He's basically that npc Kirk, Knight of Thorns, fully upgraded shield, lightning barbed sword, armor of thorns set, and level 40. Invaded someone dressed as Solaire......good times.

@tharbk01 Correct, if you consider that 2/3 of the SL100-130 players are actively trying to invade others, it's easy to see why you have fewer targets to invade. When considering the SL10-20 range, at least 50% of the players are Hollow and simply dropping their WSS to be a phantom. Perhaps only 10-20% of the players that low are invaders, but that other 50% are in Human form because they want to summon help for the boss & against the invaders they expect to come. At SL122, it's easier to host.

is it still considered twinking if you played through the game legitimately at a low level without abusing BB or having someone trade you items?

I don't see why so many haters and negative comments: it's pretty fair to have this rewarding fun after killing 4 kings at very low level, if not at level 1 like I recently did. If you don't want to get invaded stay hollow or accept the risk OR cowardly disconnect like someone does. If you are hating this message too, probably is because you got owned by my SLV1 in undead burg.

@UchihaG For what it's worth, people were beating the entire game at SL1 and SL10 the first week it was out. Putting "end game gear" on low level characters is not something new, and has been going on WAY before the BB glitch existed. Now you actually NEED to wear weapons & armor that will get you called a troll in order to survive as a host or invader SL10-20. A majority of the people you invade, and everyone who invades you is wearing it. Without it, you lose.

@oovwoo I know they were, but in Dark Souls is way harder to be a troll than in demons, first you gotta defeat the 4 kings, wich is HARD in a high lvl, way harder lvl 1-20, then you gotta invade and in this game the max lvl cap when invading is NOT restricted to your lvl, so you could easily try to troll a lvl 711 character... And OF COURSE you need equipment to troll, I particularly like the chaos weapons and the pyromancy for that :)

@LunarEntity I play a *lot* at SL10-15, and I have never seen the BKGA that low. Havels & Giants & Masks & LIT weapons, of course. Technically you need to be a SL20 Warrior/Hunter in order to achieve the necessary stats to properly TWO-hand the BKGA at the lowest level possible, no?
