Monos Luggage Review Pt. 2 | After 7 flights, 2 boat rides & 12,000 miles of traveling

Awesome, honest review. Thank you for the details about the carryon, it not fitting under the seat, the light color and scuffing (I had the same problem with the Delsey and an eraser helps, but…), etc. This is exactly the review I was looking for.

I have 8 hours to pull the trigger on the deal that Monos has going on for 1) check in large + 2) carry on plus for $396 shipped to my door ! It seems like such an INCREDIBLE deal. so glad I came across this review.

Strongly recommend the MONOS luggage covers which do an excellent job of protecting the suitcases from dirt, scratches, dings, etc.

I love my monos carry on plus and my book bag I can't wait to get the duffel and weekender!

The metro duffel looks good but I don't like how narrow the opening is and how heavy it is. Mine has air bubbles in the leather after 2 uses. I reached out to their support, and it's been over a month--they haven't gotten back to me. Safe to say, I don't think I will be purchasing any more monos luggage. I'm going to give Beis a try now.

Is this the carry on pro plus (slightly bigger one) or the regular carry on pro (smaller one)? Also, I’m an over packer and will get anxiety about not being able to bring everything I want. Do you think the medium still had a decent amount of space for someone who likes to pack a lot? Or should I definitely go with the large size? I have this duffle bag. It’s quite tall. I would not expect it to fit under standard airplane seats without laying it down. Mine fits pretty well under seats.Also, isn’t this bag like 4lbs empty? Isn’t it being heavy due to what’s put in it?

How secure are the zippers? Can you open them up with a pen?

Is it the Ivory. Does it look an in real life? The metropak in ivory looks tan.

my more than 10 year old 32 inch samsonite with probably more than 120000 miles and still no holes......and only weights 7-8 pounds... if you are traveling, more durable bag than this

DO NOT BUY MONOS. I bought a set of two MONOS suitcases. I traveled to Italy with my family. The others on our trip had AWAY and Briggs & Riley. My luggage looked so cheap next to theirs. Mine also buckled when stacked with the others. Their bags were several years old. My BRAND-NEW luggage looked like I tied the suitcases to the back of a truck and drove around town. Their bags looked new next to mine. I contacted MONOS to let them know how the luggage faired, and they told me to pound sand since I had used the luggage on the trip.

The issue with the pro is if you lock it, someone can still open the laptop part and just cut into the back to open it. Was your carry on the pro plus, the bigger one? Why did they have you check it in?
