And Ellen says she feels like a prisoner in her multi million dollar mansion.

$1500 a month for a closet. Just evil to do to a hard working family.

This man has nothing to be embarrassed about. He's doing the best he can to support his family

The sad thing is this might soon become a norm in the US as well. I work 50+ hours a week with decent pay, good credit, and STILL can't afford reasonable accommodations in a small city. The best a lot of people in my situation can get is renting rooms and those are becoming progressively more expensive too. Wouldn't be surprised if we start renting out cabinet spaces like this, I know someone personally who slept in a walk in closet. It's scary how basic accomodations is becoming a losing game for a large percentage of the world.

Makes me realize how petty and ungrateful I've been these days.
  • I feel bad for ever complaining about my life. My heart just hurts to see people struggle like this
  • @bennyboy2079
Makes my blood boil they are made to pay £1500 monthly for a wardrobe to live in 🤬
  • This is actually common in many countries. They had no choice but to live like this. It's the cheapest, yes. I have experienced this myself too. For at least a single person like me, this kind of home is much more better than not having at all. And This family deserved good home good life.
