🇬🇧 You are correct, KC & TSB did sing "That's The Way I Like It". "Please Don't Go" "Shake Your Booty" & "Get Down Tonight", BANGERS. ❤🎶🎼

This is the 70's, we were allowed to be color blind, and we made music that brought us together.

People can say what they want about Disco. Disco had no color. Disco was about the music and dancing. All inclusive. I miss the world of the 70's. And yes i wore bell bottoms, everyone did.

The 70's was big on horn sections. KC, Earth Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, James Brown, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Chicago etc. This is our jam. No high school dance was complete without KC's music blasting. Dance floor filling good time.
  • @tonyplove
KC and the Sunshine Band produced bangers like a dance factory.

This was the 70’s and 80’s. We didn’t give a crap about race.
  • He's from Florida. When my sister was a nanny if Florida. She was hurrying down the sidewalk. She collided with someone. They reached down and helped her up. It was KC

Other hits from them include "Boogie Shoes", "Get Down Tonight", "That's The Way (I Like It)", "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty", "Keep It Comin' Love" and "Give It Up."

What is lacking today is a good horn/ brass section!

Dude is 73 years old and still performing. Said it's easy to get down tonight, but getting back up again is hard...lol.
  • @jdr806
Yep I wore Bell bottoms and platform shoes....70's fashion!!
  • Back in 1978 straight out of high school I went to work for Disney world. I was minding my own business walking down the tunnels and felt the presence of a lot of people around me. I looked up and it was KC and the whole band walking out with me and he was the nicest person. They all were.
  • @TexasMagnolia
The 70’s was a decade that gave us the Greatest music of all time…Every Genre was the Best!
  • @helenmalina799

  • @lpm67
I remember the golden years of the 70's and 80's where my country was colour blind...it was great. The divisive politics of today are tearing my country apart
  • Boogie was a term for dancing and going to listen to disco and funk
