The car jack to get it levelled was a stroke of brilliance.

I bought the same saw 3 weeks ago and I’ve watched a dozen videos on building a table. Amazing how many guys build a table using complex tools. No offense to them but it’s a chicken and egg thing. Videos using a complete shop of cool machines is worthless to most of us knuckleheads. Your table is simple but sturdy and has great utility. I have all the tools you used in your video. I love this table. I’m heading out to get material now. Thank you for sharing.

Such a great simple design, I’m definitely using this method for my table saw. Appreciated the Steve by step process in the video. Plus the jacks were a great idea, probably wouldn’t have thought of that.

That’s looks really strong and easy to make. I have one similar with a folding outfeed table. This looks like it would be great as outfeed and assembly. Thanks for sharing 👍👍

Nice build with a few standard tools, no milling needed. Great Job, Sir!

You have a lot of creative solutions. My favorite, of which, being the carjacks to get the table height just right. Nice work, sir!
  • Congrats and thank you ! best video on how to make a great working bench, without all the boring explanation, and yes many times it’s needed but this is a simpler way of showing all of us beginners ,and it really keeps us focus on the importance of the piece and the logical steps to fallow, thanks again !

Hi. Your video has been huge for me. I’m building my first workbench and have designed it in part based on yours and on how you went about doing it. Thanks very much for sharing.

The best one yet! inspirational too, I'm going to follow this and make mine, Thank you.
  • This video is DIY woodworking perfection. Edited down to it’s minimum, not a word spoken. I appreciated the humility too, face and head covered, let the work speak for itself. Thank you, well done!

I'm mostly impressed by all that lumber that looks straight. Surely you built a time machine to pick up your order that day.

Simple design, nicely made (apart from the complete lack of countersinking). This video has given me plenty of ideas for my next work table. My use the scissor jack idea to raise and lower the saw into position in order that it can be hidden when not needed. Thank you very much for sharing.

Oh my gosh, using those jacks to install the shelf for the table saw blew my mind! Now THAT is a life hack!
  • @PatriqChenier
OK that's it!!! I've been watching a couple of videos on how to do a workbench but most of them is done with specific tools and more complex action. Yours is perfect, efficient and easy and it's not in a bad way! Thank you, I'll now start building mine using you ideas :)
  • Fantastic skills and design. Looks sturdy and very useful. Thank you for sharing and encouraging the rest of us!
  • Love the use of the car jack to get the right height. Brilliant well done.
  • @rjpoldfart
Good Job pal, That's exactly what I'm wanting for my saw. Great inspiration.
  • Brilliant to use the car jacks to level the saw with the table. I've never seen that before. Great idea!

I have just purchased the Dewalt DW7491 table saw. Plan to convert one of my two 4’x8’ roll around work tables into this. Thanks for a great video!
