Just a quick jam on my OB-X8, just felt like uploading something! I've been so busy with work lately that I've sort of fallen out of the swing of uploading more regularly. Anyway, say hello to my new favorite synthesizer and most expensive thing I've bought maybe ever lol. Worth every penny!

    WOW--adore your playing, esp BRASS sounds-you made that OBX-8 sound so great and my OB-6 so tinny, thin and generally crappy that I IMMEDIATELY sold it and FINALLY got a REAL Oberheim, THE EIGHT. Dreamt of it for 40 years, and THERE IS no substitute-esp when I have endured interim crap like the Matrix 6, The OB-12, and the OB-6. ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES. Keep up your genius there--The Ober is UBER!! Now I want a X8 desktop also for backup!!

    Hello Adam, this synth is a great one, no doubt ! I'm happy for you. But sincerely, do you think it worths 5,000 $ ?? We could ask the same about the new Minimog Model D 2022 : 6.000 $ !! Does it really worth it ? When we buy a synth from one of these old famous brands, I'm afraid we do pay for a great part of their trademark.
