the water in the soba was supposed to be added to the soba noodles itself, not into the cup, its to stop the noodles from sticking and rehydrate them
-
That employee thought that food was for 3to 4 people πππ

Enough food for a small family or one big American person ππ€£ Had me rolling Bro good one!! π

I remember having the katsu sando on my previous trip and it was really good! I think convenience stores in Japan are really God sent if you are travelling on a budget. Btw the pudding has this little tab at the bottom that you can break to release the air so that the pudding can fall nicely no need for slamming πππ

Japan has the most premium convenience store food. I love it so much! You tried many good dishes ππ

Another fun vid! Pro tip: Put the wasabi directly on the soba, along one of the noodles in the bunch that you grab. It will have a much stronger taste than when diluted in the broth. Also, when I was way younger, Ozeki One Cup sake was super popular because it was not only inexpensive, but came with a plastic reusable lid so that you could store any leftover sake or any other beverage when you took it to a picnic. All poor families' glassware consisted mainly of One Cup glasses with their labels removed, haha.

there is usually a pointy thing at the bottom of the pudding packaging that you can break, that allows air in, which allows the pudding to slip out easily without effort or banging.
-
For the pudding, you can break the little stick sticking out at the bottom to let the air in so the pudding comes out easily π It's called pucchin pudding because "pucchin" describes the sound when you break the stick lol

When the cashier tried to give him a family's worth of chopsticks Natural comedy at its best

Such a huge amount of calories these, I lost count when all the tonkatsu came to the tableπ. Iβm waiting to see some video about your workout routine or something similar. Iβm from South America and I love these kind of convenience store and all the street markets content. Keep going uncle Jimmy. We all love your content. Love from Peru againβ€οΈ

I'm surprised that a lot of commentors here pointed out some things even a foodie like myself knows. You have a food educated community here - one I admire and wish I have. Very glad for your detailed evaluation and love watching and learning more.

Lawson was headquartered in my hometown of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. We had Lawsons in every neighborhood and their plant baked bread every week & provided dairy products. Lawson's French Onion Dip for potato chips is still Ohio famous and our replacement stores still sell it.
-
hahaha the best part of this video was when you told the lady you only needed 1x chopsticks! The assumption that it was for your family or significant other lol! Clearly She is not a subscriber! Keep up the great Jimmy! We love you! You're our channel inspiration!
