How to Play 2 Player Coop in COD Modern Warfare 2 (Split screen)

Not allowing split-screen for spec-ops is the biggest nonsense ever. I hope they'll seriously consider adding it in the future. That's how I was counting to do the spec-ops and finding out just now you can't at the moment is really disappointing. What are they thinking at IW / Activision? Also, not being able to do all the other MP modes, including WZ, is just sad.

What a big step backwards for Call of Duty. Zombies on Cold War was my favorite mode to play splitscreen, I guess I will go back to that one.

Even to this day I still play both mission and survival spec-ops modes from MW3 with split-screen co-op; PS3 still even lets you find online co-op players for free. Sad to see how limited things have become.

I’m sad for all these people who have been shunned by the cooperation or whoever the greedy decision maker would be. Although i am thankful I haven’t yet purchased this game and will absolutely not for sure now, it sucks to read about genuinely good people who can’t play with a family member or friend. Shame on you Infinity ward!

idk how but i was playing multiplayer with my friends. my brother (same ps5) hopped on and we played split screen online, even though his account has no ps plus. maybe if ur in a party it works but it could have been a glitch

You can split screen on quick play if you disable "FREE FOR ALL". that's always been a thing. I will make a video showing how to play DMZ on split screen also😋

You can only play split screen for private matches. Disappointed

Not being able to play split-screen in all modes has to be one of the most selfish things any manufacturer can do to the great people of this planet! There are so many kind hearted gamers out there who give to countless charities who would simply like to have some gaming interaction with a friend or whoever! (Funnest way to play really) Shame on you who has the so called power to pull the plug on this simple option. You may think that you’re laughing all the way to the bank as the archaic saying goes. However you will know what balancing karma means at some point as we all live by rule sets perfectly placed in this ultimate game of life, and the game is about evolution! How about you do the right thing and activate split-screen. Really, i think you make enough money that it just might be affordable to activate even if the whole world were playing split screen.

I F’eking hate it how non of these games offer couch co-op option. Huge letdown to say the least. In the 2000s I remember me and my buddy used to have so much fun playing PS co-op games. Miss those days. They’ve killed the joy of socializing with your friend while playing games. Feels as if they just want everything in cyber life
