Currently having an existential crisis about whether my use of mixolydian b2 b6 evokes the spirit of the camel 😂
-
This channel is gonna blow the fuck up. Glad to be in here early, been binging these videos and listening to Marbin non stop.

thanks danny and dani for sharing the knowledge. I appreciate it very much. It's the kick in the ass I need as a player to grow.
-

Great lesson, super helpful, thanks for the lesson. The avoid the camel was a plus 😂. You are a great teacher, respect brother.

My favorite pattern in remembering the modes when I was listening that I discovered was: Aeolian #7 Locrian #6 Ionian #5 Dorian #4 Phrygian #3 Lydian #2 Mixolydian #1 Obv when the note is flat from the major mode, # makes it natural. I.e. Locrian #6 means Locrian natural six, etc. Melodic Minor has a similar pattern I found Ionian b3 Dorian b2 Phrygian b1 Lydian b7 Mixolydian b6 Aeolian b5 Locrian b4 Cringe #1 and b1, but the pattern is cool.

i want to learn about the 5:45 thingy. what terms should i look up? i am not classically trained but i am a yngwie fan. and i hear it a lot on his acoustic sections
-
4:55 he played Claire de Lune
-
The kamel reminds me of kurungabin band a bit , but I do like their tunes.
-
I'm totally going to invoke the camel
-
Hey I Love the Camel, of course I don't refer to it as such. Very mystical. I Love Exotic sounding scales. Speaking of which, is that why you left out the Phrygian Dominant mode. How do you teach HM modes and leave out the Phrygian Dominant? Do they not use it in Jazz? Good, I Love it even more now, Oh wait, you're calling it the Mixolydian b2 b6. You dont find that odd since it is in the Phrygian position and also since its the Mixolydian mode which gets its Tonic altered not the Phrygian. Friggin Jazz whatever
-
What do you have against camels?
-
I only EVER ride the camel bro. Especially with a Phrygian dominant. (Juuuust kidding)
