Ritchie is probably one of the most talented musicians on this planet :)
  • @RichBischoff
Paul always looks like he is having the time of his life, love it!

I just love Richie Kotzen's playing so much. I think he's quite an underrated player, even though he did have quite a bit of exposure in the '80, he separated himself from all the shredder scene and went to try to find his own voice. He's just amazing at playing, singing and composing. And it's great seeing a rock guitar player with long hair nowadays for a change!!!

I love how its almost like lynch is in his own world when he is up there.
  • @b1ak3m
Damn...Gilbert is so friggin' flawless it is insane.
  • @FreakExcess
Kotzen's tone cuts through the mix the best! But I love how they're all so distinct in their playing
  • George is always searching outside the box, which is why I love his style. Sometimes it sounds lost but it works. His tone and phrasing just kills.
  • @Halen78
Wow, George can really hold his own with those two. Some of those licks he pulls off sound freaking awesome and look really cool. Glad to see it.
  • @Lanzamusic
this is not a contest, people. these guys are just having fun trying to impress each other. each is an iconic player with their own voice. some playing "out" and others in.
  • @superflea72
Kotzen is awesome! best tone/playing on the night. :)

Unlike the 80's, they now take your hand & walk you through massively technical guitar techniques on the net. it took us years to invent. We had to sit&rewind tapes or, just play scales. When I'd practice I wouldn't put my guitar down until I learned something new & mastered it. "Heres to all guitarists that got good by relying ourselves and our mind!" 80's guitarists made this allpossible for your generation. ~Rexx Michaels~

I have never seen Paul Gilbert play rhythm guitar for so long with out stopping to solo!
  • @neutronstar7803
Ritchie is insanely gifted.. great singer with out of this world guitar technics.. check what Nuno Bettencourt said about him after one of his concert.. when a guy like Nuno who can do absolutely anything with his guitar tells you that what you did during the concert is beyond what he saw any other guitar player do in years gives a clue about the extent of Richie's talent.. and he is not talking about technic but tone, vibrato, soul, creativity, expressiveness
  • @SnuffleZeTruffle
This wasn't a competition folks! It was about three very different and equally unique in style and tone players, getting up there and jammin..old school styleeee. Why do people always do this "teenage" type comparison nonesense of "my guys better than yours". Get a life and enjoy the spectacle of 3 incredible and unique guitar players just doing what we all wish we could do!
  • @scottwaszak698
News flash, Kotzen is EASILY the most talented guy on that stage; world class vocalist and virtuoso guitarist.
  • @ResedaCC
Serious talent overload. Everyone up there is great!
  • @jonmcg1993
The sheer enjoyment on richie's face @ 5:01 says it all for me.
  • @LioFuzz
I´m a Paul and Ritchie fan but GL is from another planet, nobody compares to him.
