I don’t think it’s fair to compare the “average married man” to “happy, confident and successful single men”, of course the latter is going to be higher value but happy confident and successful is not the average (unfortunately). Also maybe there’s a point to be made about societal expectations. Of course an empowered individual shouldn’t care about that, but if you’re in the public eye you may be more trusted as a married “family man” I loved the quote at the end, “F*ck it, man, focus on your ultimate goal”. I think we could use this to answer many of life’s great questions😅
  • Ciao Lucio. I've been following you for years, I'm a PU student and I really respect you as a person. So I hope mine is a constructive criticism and not anything else: honestly you should improve the quality of your videos, I don't understand the green screen, I understand that you give much more quality than those who have "fancy backgrounds" but I think improving the appearance more can bring new people who see the channel for the first time closer.

One of the most important parts of the video is how he breaks down the loss of "opportunity costs" of getting married. Even women on a certain level realize this, thats why they always go for relationship/marriage/family. Because women on a certain level realize that if she takes a high value man off the market, she can gain a edge in life from his power.
  • Great video! I would love to see you elaborate either here in the blog as to the clear reasons why "men give more and women take more" in marriages. This is something that I have always FELT intuitively, but have had trouble putting into words. Especially when media and culture are constantly trying their hardest to fight the PR battle on behalf of women, to insert that actually its WOMEN who get the bad end of the deal ("unpaid labor", quoted statistics about poor outcomes dor divorced single mothers than fathers, etc) I would like to be able to better articulate to others why (at least in my personal opinion) that marriage is typically the better deal for women Thanks for the video!

Lucio, I appreciate the amount of thought and effort you put into these videos! I've been working through PU and it's been a eye-opening experience every step of the way.

Lucio hey. Will comment this again cause maybe you didn't see it in the previous vid. The Social Strategist book links that you have on your website don't lead us to the December 2023 version that you notify us about. It's all Amazon links of past 2022 versions. Can that be fixed?

You touched on many of these points in PU under the Dating section if I’m not mistaken. Great to see you put it on video
