Well what’s the different between a 17 year old and a 16 year old. Age of consent is arbitrary in that we have to draw the line somewhere, but if she were just 18 it would still be gross and wrong. The law does not legislate morality, a 25 year old man should not be sleeping with a teenager at all.

I will say one thing: if I remember correctly Noel making the joke about the age gap was because there was a running joke in the fan base about Cody being like 70 years old. In hindsight though? OOF. It just keeps getting worse. I’m so disappointed and disgusted.

Former fan chiming in to say that the bit from Noel saying that doc is about Cody isn't as horrific as it seems 😭 I'll be the first to have a go at this gross ass bastard, but it was a longtime, running joke that Cody was like an old man and I genuinely believe that this joke was what Noel was poking fun at, not him pursuing underage girls. the worst part about this whole thing is that there are also so many people creating fake accounts, stealing pics of other people on social media (obviously attractive ones) and use them to text minors…. i wish social media platforms had all of this regulated but honestly i can’t imagine how… the things they’re willing to do just to text a minor is crazy and disturbing
