  • As a teenager throughout the 70's, men were clearly more romantic. Expressing feelings came easy. We spent time talking, having adventures, experiencing life - no phones, no internet. It made a difference. All communications in relationships were Face to face - no texting. I think that's why 70's balads are just a step above the rest.
  • Air Supply was one of those musical groups (duo) that the so-called "cool" guys would not admit to liking, but you'd see them singing it in the car when they didn't think anyone was looking.
  • “Making love out of nothing at all” is another great track!

He's not asking "what are you thinking of" in terms of "what did I do wrong?" He already KNOWS and has admitted that he was WRONG. He's asking what she's thinking in terms of being willing to take him back, NOW that he HAS admitted it! LOL
  • Tip of the iceberg for Air Supply. Graham Russel (tall guitarist) and Russell Hitchcock (vocalist, red shirt) are incredible and deserve more accolades than they have received.

At one time, he had the record for the longest note held in a song! Great reaction!!😊

Air Supply lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock holding the final note for "16.2 seconds". This was the longest-held note for a male pop singer until 1983, when Sheriff lead vocalist Freddy Curci held the final note of "When I'm with You" for 19.4 seconds.
  • I think, at the time, Russell legitimately holds that note -- because he did it live too -- for 15 -16 seconds which I think was a record at the time
  • i had their Hawaiian video playing while in labor with my daughter! i told the lead singer, Russell Hitchcock, what i did, and he tells my story in interviews today!! i have been dubbed Labor Room Linda!! I've been a fan since the summer of 1980! his voice pierces my soul! thank you for reacting and lots of love!
  • I have 2 sons, ages 25 and 26. They went with me to my ear doctor about a month ago. It's a father/son business. The son is in his 30s. We were talking about music and somehow this band came up. He had no idea who these guys are. My boys started singing songs. I just looked at him, shrugged my shoulders and said "They have vast musical knowledge". Made my kids laugh.
  • I had this on replay crying when someone in my life died back in the 80s. It is an amazing song.

You're every woman in the World is my favorite Air Supply hit
  • Whaaaaat WHAT!!!! Now we’re talking. I’m a straight Thug G and there’s no hiding that this group is tremendous! Good choice Pegasus
  • I was 10 years old in 1970 and was so blessed to listen to the entire decade of beautiful talented voices in romantic songs with no auto tunes! Just pure talent 😊 Thank you for your great reaction ❤

That moment when you know you’re about to cry but you can’t bring yourself to stop listening. Their Greatest Hits are epic and necessary music education.
  • Air Supply is a soft rock duo formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 1975, consisting of Englishman Graham Russell (vocals, guitar) and Australian Russell Hitchcock (vocals).
