Dear Miranda, You live in such a magical corner of the world! Gray days never look lovelier than when snow is falling. Usually I prefer the light of an overcast day in winter. I think because the sun-glare on snow overpowers the subtle colors of winter. But that soft pinky-golden daybreak and late-day light that you capture is just breathtaking. It was a joy to crunch along in the snow and warm by the fire with you!

Miranda, this was an absolutely exquisite video. From the lovely walks in the snow to the sharing of your beautiful Christmas gifts and ending with your beautiful mum sitting cozily by the fire. I am most envious of the copy of The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge. The cover of the book is so beautiful - it makes me want to get lost in that beautiful, innocent story once again. It is an incredibly beautiful environment in which you live and we are so lucky that you share it so generously. I am snug and relaxed now, ready to press on with my reading of Villette.
