To all potential gown wearers watching this: your pant size is NOT your bridal size! Your dress size is NOT your bridal size! Bridal is sized very, very differently and you need to take your measurements.

I am fat. I will NEVERRR buy anything shown on a size 2. You need to buy on your body, always. What looks great on a model size 2 will never look good on your fat body. There are so many dresses nice for a big size, go for that.

Stop buying non-returnable dresses online for big events 😭
  • Holy smokes you were a miracle worker! You took a dress that was at least 5 sizes too small and made it work. Most tailors would have turned that task away, but you made it work. Well done!

Genius save and love that the belt was added. Yes you cleaned up the chaos in the back 😄.
  • @buttahp
I love how she shows us that the middle fitting was too big. This work is a process and it's not just boom and perfection. ❀

I actually own that exact dress in another color. I ordered LARGER than I thought I'd need and it was still too small. This was months before the event so I just exchanged it. You ma'am, worked a miracle.

As a fat girli, imma need yall to start learning. ‱ Stop buying dresses that only show skinny models wearing it. ‱ Stop buying important items of clothing from online stores. ‱ Reverse image search cuz these sites are stealing images and youre gotta get scammed. ‱ Remember you get what you paid for.

You are so kind and encouraging in working with these ladies who have bought non-refundable gowns hoping they will fit. And you manage to make their dreams come true and are modest about it! ALL praise! ❀❀❀
  • @EJCmkechi
They created the front of the dress and gave up when they got to the back. It looks great after you worked your magic!
  • @jaxiann
I have seen many of your videos, and I think your channel should be called miracle threads!! You are making miracles happen!!❀

You are my new sewing hero. What you do is a gift to brides. I love to sew but have never been excited about alterations. Alterations is sewing skill beyond just creating a dress. It is often so much more difficult. The women who benefit from your skills are certainly lucky.
  • @CatyBee
She ordered a dress and just got some fabric until you worked your magic!!
  • @Julaeable
The silver dress with her skin tone is gorgeous! Fantastic alterations 😊
  • Excellent job! And i love the way she accessorised it with some rhinestone, lace and super pretty bouquet! ❀ 💐
  • She looked so lovely at the end, and that rhinestone belt detail was gorgeous. Great job, so classy.

I don't understand buying dresses for a special occasion, that typically costly, online. Even if you find the dress at a discount online, you should go into a store and try it on to make sure it looks good/fits. Most stores do not require you to purchase anything from their store. At most there is a fitting fee & that has to be less than a last minute tailor appointment that requires this genius to rig up something spectacular.

That dress was so small. I do not know why, but you worked a miracle. How beautiful!!!
  • @juliestarr5885
Why are so many of these dresses SO off in terms of size? Are these super cheap I ordered this and got this dresses where the extensive alterations end up costing 3x more $ than the dress itself, or are people going hey I can lose 100lbs in 3 if the most stressful busy months of my life (planning the wedding), or do the dresses only come up to a size 5 sizes smaller than the bride/wearer and they just assume you can work miracles
which so far you absolutely have, beautiful work! Good Lord though I’d never leave something so important to chance because what happens when you are booked solid or can’t find a matching or complimentary fabric?

I'm with the bride on the zipper vs corset look on in back of the dress. You did a wonderful job and she'll remember how special you made her wedding day forever.
