Looking at this dance and the attire of actresses it seems that India of that era had a very rich culture with evolved music and dancing and confident and open minded women who were respected as Devi.

Amrapali is life story of a dancer who was extra ordinarily talented and there were wars for her. Later she attained peace after meeting buddha and became a saint and walked in his path.. wore orange robes and walked thousands of miles to spread buddhism.. what an inspiring depiction of beauty & grace by Vyjayanthi maala.. simply Awe stuck..

मुख की भाव भंगिमाओं और मंद मंद मुस्कान के माध्यम से वैजयंती जी ने अपने नृत्य कौशल को जिस प्रकार व्यक्त किया है वो अद्वितीय है। साथ में नृत्य करती अन्य युवती भी कमाल की नृत्यांग्ना है इसमें कोई संदेह नहीं है किन्तु वैजयंती जी समक्ष हों तो किसी अन्य की ओर ध्यान जाता ही नहीं।
