Theres a quote I remember:"Its amazing how one man could help millions of people but millions of people could not help one man."

I've never been more upset over the death of a celebrity than I was for Robin Williams. I still mourn him. RIP Robin. 💙

Such a terrible shame that someone who brought such joy to others could find precious little for himself. Genius often walks a fine line with madness.

To this day Williams is the only celebrity whose passing had me actually grieving. I remember coming home from work about two days after his death, and after backing into the driveway and hearing more about him on the radio, I switched off the engine and broke down behind the wheel. It was dark out and I remember seeing the street lights as streaks in my vision because of the tears smothering my face. It felt like I had lost a friend I never met. No celebrity has come that close before or since. Under the right circumstances and videos, even after 6 years, I can still get choked.

He is the living definition of the sad clown. RIP you amazing human being.

My husband got to meet Robin when he came to Iraq. He said he laughed so hard he felt like he broke ribs.

My daughter is friends with his youngest son. Had been to his house often and enjoyed his kindness and hospitality. Years before, I met Robin twice. He was very kind and sweet. May he rest in peace. Gone much too soon.

RIP Robin Williams

Robin Williams is the only celebrity death that hit me like I was losing someone I knew. He gave me so many laughs throughout my crappy childhood. If there is something beyond this life, I hope he found his peace in it.

Met him in 2002 and we talked about nothing for 5 min and it was great. He did a terminator impression as we were leaving the gym and we had pictures taken with him. Afghanistan.

“His death in 2014.” That shocked me to my core. I lost my breath at the fact that it’s been almost 5 years. I had no words. I could only whisper “Has it really been that long.”

The world is a smaller place without Robin Williams, he will be missed.

Out of all celebrities everywhere, Robin Williams will always hold a special place in my heart. To me, he is joy itself. Love you man x

He checked out when he realized there was only diminishing returns in the future. However he leaves a legacy of originality that we will never see again. Thanks for sharing your gifts Robin for all those years.
