They are identifiable as being Slave Bracelets by having a cuff/bracelet which connects to a ring or rings on the finger(s), via some sort of chain(s).

I learned about these when dealing in vintage/antique jewelry sales, but I rarely ever see these bracelets used in Mainstream Media Productions (In recent years, they were used HEAVILY in Disney Descendants movies. Mal {Maleficent’s daughter, played by Dove Cameron} wears FOUR DIFFERENT Slave Bracelets in Descendants 3 alone!!! I believe it’s completely intentional to send a message that these people are slaves with no autonomy!). I have usually only seen them on belly dancers and some other very specific areas of Media.

Slave bracelets are a type of jewelry that originated in the Middle East during the Ottoman Empire. Slave Bracelets were traditionally worn by women as a symbol of servitude and loyalty to their husbands or masters.
