Ummmmmm Einstein didn't prove Newton to be wrong. He just proved theres more laws to the universe than Newton had initially accounted for. That's like saying Einstein was wrong because you can't use the Theory of Relativity to explain a black hole. Not wrong, just not enough to explain the works of everything.

The twin paradox was proven correct years ago when scientists took two atomic clocks and flew one around the world while the second was left at the airport. When they were reunited the one on the plane was a tiny bit behind the other.

Einstein published the idea of relativity just 8 years after Max Planck had published his discovery of quantum mechanics. Physics got really weird really quickly in those days.

Imagine being a scientist during that time, it must have felt so disorienting to have Einstein come onto the scene and change such fundamental ideas about things. Like, should I go back to everything I wrote before and revise them? What do I still rely on and what can change? And throughout he`s life, you as a scientist are wondering if he is going to disrupt some other part of science.
