What's up Fellow Collectors!! Today we will be taking a look at the Godzilla vs. Kong S.H.Monsterarts Kong Event Exclusive. I picked this up at this years New York Comic Con since this is supposedly an updated version of the original release. This new version comes with newly modeled parts. They’ve revamped the body coloring to look like the image in the final showdown. It also comes with more accessories. Does this new version correct all the wrong things with the original release?     I really want this one. The axe alone makes the set worth it. It could definitely look good with other figures too. I also prefer "battle damaged" look it has over the original. It makes it look better in action poses. Also they are releasing a new Shin Godzilla figure soon.

    Good review!! Recently, I finally got my hands on this particular, "Exclusive", KONG figure from AMAZON, that had 1 for sale at a good price. I'm so glad, that I didn't get the original release, as I like this one much better. I believe the blast effect is from NECA Godzilla 2019. I really like the diorama you'd put together with Kong fighting Mecha Godzilla.

    Do you have the Hiya Godzilla? To me it kicks the MonsterArts ass. Can't wait for the other releases they put out, including their Kong

    I’ll always love Peter jackson version the most but the newer kong is still pretty badass

    New is better than the old. The original looked like a bootleg (since it had loose joints and the axe was terrible)
