In this Spanish phrases video, you'll notice a lot of phrases that end in a/o. For some Spanish words, we have to make sure that the word's gender matches the gender of the person, place, or thing we are talking about. In the sentences featured in this Spanish phrases video, the speaker is talking about herself, so she uses the "a" ending. For example, when we want to say "I am lost" in Spanish, a male speaker would say "Estoy perdido", while a female speaker would say "Estoy perdida".

In this Spanish lesson, our native English speaker will say each phrase, then our native Spanish speaker will repeat the phrase in Spanish. Watching and listening to native Spanish speakers is the fastest way to learn Spanish, so start with this 100 Spanish Phrases for Beginners lesson.

  • Thank you for the education. Repeating the Spanish phrase 2 or 3 times, once slowly would benefit. Thanks again.

  • I was curious how each girl is perfectly still when it wasn't her turn. Then I realized that this is a very well done video which took a lot of editing work to go back and forth with the cuts and pauses inserted to produce that effect. This is the most professional video ive seen for this education.

This is a great video. One recommendation would be to add different ways of saying a phrase. i.e. como estats or que tal, hasta luego or hasta pronto etc.
