Short overview of importing Blender geometry nodes object using AlterMesh for UE5, which also allows changing geometry nodes parameters from inside Unreal. This is a much faster method than using common exporting formats.
Material setup was just simple drag and drop, sourced from Megascans.

Hi Val, can those forest tree animations that are showed on gumroad be replicated in UE5 with AlterMesh? If yes, can you demo some of that? If no, could you consider adding support for it if technically possible? It would open the door for amazing stuff in UE5, well and make me buy that forest nodes resource .)

Altermesh could not import textures and shaders in the beta. Has this changed? Or do you still need to update the shaders in Unreal ?
