When was the last time someone gave you direct (potentially painful) coaching? How have you applied that coaching since?

The insight that sales and leadership require understanding and meeting needs is spot on. A key tactic for entrepreneurs is to apply the 'Jobs to be Done' framework when engaging with leads—instead of just selling a product, focus on the progress a customer is trying to make in a given circumstance. This shifts the conversation from features to the customer's story, often leading to better conversion rates and customer satisfaction.

Dale Canegie's Relationship Selling course really helped me to see sales from a different perspective. A lot the things talked about in this interview made me think of what I learned. Great interview!
  • @bournebrandi
This was great! I loved learning about leadership in sales since I've never experienced that side myself. Commission based that is. You know its interesting though because I see some qualities that refelct this is my leaders so that is great to be able to see that gold in them as something to learn from too. The part about "tell, sell, yell" spoke to me. This is an area I need to grow in! Also the "ask, listen, learn then take action" part was impactful to me. As always, thank you for sowing into us as leaders!
