  • If for no other reason than you’re passing along wrenching to the next generation, I’m subscribing. Thanks for the Wi-Fi info.

Greetings: I like the idea of teaching the child about things by disassembly, identification and organization. Qualities most adults do not learn. He will know more at 10 than most will their life. Good job. I applaud U. Thx 4 the share.

Having your son tear apart old equipment for spare bolts is a great way to get them into fixing things. Love the content!
  • @Pete..
I started at a young age, wrenching on things the same way I love the junkyard, start out there, work your way into the garage then show your worth investing time into and you take it seriously and a good mechanic will teach you so much
  • Thank you! My husband just built his garage a month ago, and I have been trying to find a way to get wifi in there for him for his birthday 8/9. Just in time, thanks again!

Great video! Thanks for the help gonna try this in my garage! Also love seeing the young man wrenching on a motor! Keep it up pops!
  • @Toyotech91760
I just added this setup for my home shop that is about 200 feet away from my house and worked no problem!!! THANKS!!

Fantastic video! Thank you for explaining the power coming from different meters. I have my barn on a separate meter. I was able to understand quickly that that wouldn't work for me! I bought ethernet cable and dug it in the ground to my barn and hooked to a new router. Great video!
  • I learned to wrench on stuff with my Dad on his various car and bike projects over the years. The idea of picking up junk to gather misc hardware is genius. Can't wait to give my kids stuff to tear into that i'm not worried about them destroying haha. Thanks for the info, you've gained a sub!

I had problems with wifi in my garage. I bought one of the AC outlet receiver kits. It works fine with an old router. I thank you for the advice on this Item. I'm glad you found this item our I would be without service. Again I thank you very much.

Thank you for making the exact video I needed to see to solve my problem of poor wifi to my garage/studio! The equipment was less than $80 total (I have the TV already).
  • @jaemez3247
Thank you for this. I have this same problem. Installed a computer and TV but no internet. This will be perfect for my shop
  • this is brilliant for home automation/monitoring. I have the same one service-> child panel setup with a metal building... don't feel like laying conduit and cable. This makes so much more sense. EVEN BETTER- I can finally put that baddy security camera on top of the light pole next to the coop! and watch chickens/control heaters/lights etc inside the coop. Sorta too cool. Love you got young ones wrenching. How I spend my years any chance I got- still do.
  • Thanks for the info….ill be getting a very similar set up done in my shop as soon as I can afford to….
  • @heathon218

I tried a powerline adapter and that didn’t work for my shop. Our well house is a secondary shop that it worked for for a short time but when it stopped I needed a new plan. For the garage shop that has metal carports that block the signal I ran cable for an access point device. For the well house shop I was able to use a mesh service. Those linked with my Starlink internets service has given me fantastic service all over the main part of our property 😊
  • @petea1663
Thanks for this, as you said this is exactly what I needed
  • @machdaddy6451
I've used these powerline networking devices before too. They also have units that are access points (provide WiFi).
