Superliminal - All Collectables Walkthrough Guide

Superliminal (previously Museum of Simulation Technology) is a 2019 puzzle video game released by Pillow Castle. The game, played from a first-person perspective, incorporates gameplay elements around optical illusions and forced perspective; notably, certain objects when picked up can be moved towards or away from the player, but when placed back down, scale to the size as the player had viewed them, enabling the player to solve puzzles to complete the game.
The game was released for Microsoft Windows in November 2019. Ports for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch were released in July 2020.

FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR THE MISSING FIRE ALARMS AT CHAPTER 5, 49:50 The alarms were moved in the current release of the game. The new locations are: 1. The room where he duplicates all of the alarm clocks to reach the chess piece; youll find it on the right hand wall of that room. 51:16 2. Behind the open door that he climbs up on to grab another chess piece (where he jumps around on all the lights and up on to the pipe) 57:27 There is another one that is in the game now that doesnt show up in this guide. At 58:35 youll find another fire alarm in the second door, just past the first one. Watch the video with this in mind and youll find them! :)

Important: If this door (1:26:33) to the Jungles' Bistro is closed for you, it is because it's always closed on the first playthrough. That's not a huge problem tho, because in the Bistro there only is one chess collectible that you can get through level selection later. So basically, just keep progressing with this guide until to this point (1:42:54). Here he will select level 2 to play the chess game but we need to select level 8 and get the chess collectible first. So, do that and then keep progressing with the guide again. Oh and btw thanks for this guide, it's great! Keep up the good work

At the end, where one pick up the trophy: One can bring the trophy back to the "main menu" area, and have it visible in full glory on the main menu. Redecorate your main menu background as you see fit with all the other items as well.

"We're on a timer, by the way." Proceeds to stroll through the corridor at a slow, leisurely pace.

Awesome guide. For those wondering about that corridor puzzle late in Labyrinth (@1:17:08), the reasoning for the solution, is that at each left-right junction, one hallway will be a dead end, the other will be the doorway that takes you to the next junction. The trick, however, is that the dead end is always placed in the first direction you look. If the path forward is in the direction the exit sign is pointing, you get sent to the next numbered hall, otherwise you just get sent back to Hall 1. Therefore, always look in the opposite direction of the sign first to ensure that that path will be the dead end.
  • I noticed two fire alarms have changed on at least the current Xbox version. You should be able to find the two new locations by the time you get to the room shown at 51:25

This was super helpful. Very clear and at a good pace that can be followed along with. Never would have found most of these so thanks!
  • @Mori-101
Best collectible guide I've used so far in any game. Loved that you also included misc trophies.
  • @sistereo2232
Thanks buddy. Absolutely top guide. Directions and instruction were clear and possibly the easiest walkthrough I've ever followed. I had managed to a few of the collectables but without this would never of found most of them. Sincere thanks.
  • @MadnessYouSay
wow loved this walkthrough and how you described, straight to the point, what had to be done as it meant i didn’t have to keep looking at the video and could easily follow along! subbed! best walkthrough i’ve seen in a while
  • @Kltsoon
THANK YOU DUDE. I did a play through before I even watched your video and I never found any of the constellation rooms. After watching your video I was easily able to get all the trophies for the game. Keep up the great work!!

A bit late as I have only just finished this game but thanks for the excellent guide. Two things; Chapter 1 - Induction - the cheese from hell: I was having severe problems near the end in getting the cheese big enough and in the right position to be able to jump across the hole in the floor to get to one of the series of hidden maps on the other side. In the end I made the cheese very large and wedged up the wall near the ladder, jumped onto the boxes, then onto the ladder, then onto the cheese, and then onto the ducting and then just walked across to the other side of the hole and dropped down. Chapter 5 - Clone: Yes some of the fire alarms have since been moved by the game developers as people apparently thought the game was broken when hitting them more than once caused multiple handles to fall to the floor. Just look out for the moved fire alarms later in the same level.

Great walkthrough, had watched a few others and techniques / methods of getting chess pieces etc were overly complicated, this guide made them easily achievable!
  • @AmoralTom
I bought this game on Switch last year and ragequit because I could not make the cheese wedge big enough in the intro level. Now here I am running through the collectibles. Life. . .finds a way. Thanks for the guide!
  • @Corn0nTheCobb
Thank you! This is the best guide for this game that I've seen.
  • @ozAqVvhhNue
In the Room at 00:13:30 you can use the 4 available escape signs and try to climb up to the walkway at the very top of the room. It is very difficult, i will admit it, but you will find [Spoiler] ... an Easteregg (litterally).
  • @Fionacle
I got the game!! I went back here a couple times to help finish it but overall I tried to get all the collectibles on my own (of course with the memory of this video in mind for a lot) I obviously didn’t get any, but thank you for this! I’m gonna use it to help get all the collectibles and I haven’t finished the video yet due to interruptions so I’ll see what happens on my own!
  • @HecticSMOK3R
Here in 2024, thank you so much for the guide 😁
  • @savedgames
