I really like this song because I think the lyrics kinda reflect how I feel at this moment in my life. I'm 22 years old and dealing with college and trying to discover who I am and what is it I want to do. So far all I've done was mistakes and only felt anger and anxiety as well as regret and depression. My childhood was shit because I had to deal with a controlling mother, a drunk father, bickering sisters, being bullied and never having friends or personal relationships with others. I was never cool, only a loser. Now I'm older, stronger, smarter (still a loser though), but for the first time in my life I'm on my own and in charge of my life. And I feel good about it because I'm in charge, but at the same time really scared because things haven't been going the way I planned or hoped. Sometimes I wish somebody will tell me what to do. Other times I wish I'd just die. But every once in a while I feel good about my life because something goes right and when I look back at what I've been through so far I realize it's not too bad and things can only get better in time. Every dog has its day and hopefully mine is coming soon. Assuming I live to be 100 I'm not even 25% for my entire life! That's crazy and the remaining chunk of life I have is in my control?! Knowing that is what keeps me from killing myself and of course the music I listen too. I think I've rambled on a bit too much but that's what your song did to me. It made me feel, and any song that makes you feel or touches you in way that you just feel expressive must be a good song. I think it's really good. I'm almost jealous I didn't write this song of course I don't know how to play any instruments. Maybe I'll look into a guitar or something to help coupe with the pain I have in me instead of bottling up like I always do. Thanks for uploading. It really is a good song.

Hey Sarah. I just wanted you to know that I'm taking shelter from a riot at this very moment and you're song is comforting my troubled soul. God bless you ♥️
  • Good for you for writing your own songs! Out the ten-million-and-one guitar 'gurus' there are on Youtube, and millions more that I simply haven't seen yet, barely ONE of them ever bothers to write their own songs.

sarah Owens Keep working on your original material! I love the intro riff and interplay with the vocal! If you haven’t already, consider exploring open and/or alternate tunings: It’s a great way to discover new sounds and find inspiration when there is such an over-saturation of the same old chords and progressions in standard tuning (via thousands upon thousands of songs and songwriters over the last 100+ years...).

FIRE I see the Atrax Morgue influence with a touch of Gnaw Their Tongues, really good stuff
  • Hi. Nice song. A great time to be alive, when you can find this beautiful individual art expressions floating at one click of one's heart and ears (hope the grammar is just right, english ain't my mother language). Keep it cool and have fun!
