You rock for putting the game title back in the video title. I know youtube incentivizes certain titles, but i massively appreciate that you listened to the community you built. Right on dude
  • @JPBennett
The fact that your car started rolling backwards when you forgot to put it in park is such a nice touch.

I am SO excited for Pacific Drive. I love games where you build up your mobile fortress, the fact that this one is an old jalopy is just wonderful.

I love that they set up Remnants as something the person grows attached to and eventually runs off into the Zone with. You can tell where they’re going with that with the car… makes me smile, that’s an awesome plot devixe

I enjoy that this game is set in my backyard, the government is the villain (as it always is) and that the car begins to look kind of like the Ecto-One as you build onto it. I'll be picking this one up for sure.

I have wanted more "Roadside picnic games" that arent Chernobyl.

I've been following Splat for a long while, and let me say - I've never seen this level of excitement before on this channel A lot of Tales from the loop / Things from the flood / Electric state (Simon Stalenhag) Vibes on this game, I'll grab it for sure.

That Russian accent bit with the magic rocks damaging the axle had me rolling XD
  • @OneEvanescent
I've been looking forward to this game for so long. I grew up on the Olympic Peninsula, and there's so few times we get mentioned in any piece of media. Also this is accurate to what it's like to live here
  • That comment about the voice actresses ability was great, made me go back to relisten to appreciate it. Splatter, you're really good at what you do too for noticing and pointing out stuff like that. It was also cool learning you're a long distance runner and the momemory of your dad fighting of a siphoner. Good stuff, looking forward to possibly seeing more vids of this if it happens.

I don't even like survival games usually, but this one looks crazy good
  • @Charlie_Dingo
I expected to want pacific drive I did not expect to see splatt playing it early and making me want it more 😂

Love the old dad story. I remember those times as well. We had the brown wood panel Chrysler station wagon and road tripped everywhere.
  • @Skullbushi
20:10 this is so relatable, the only time I ever hurt my ankle was also when I stepped on a pinecone while running, they are out to get us
  • @PopeRocket
"Escape from Carkov" "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Car of Pripyat" "Fallout: '76 Ford LTD" My heart broke when it turned out to be the radio.
  • @Elllsworks
The moment I knew this was a worthwhile game, When you started rambling like a madman about the various features! You can hear the excitement in your voice, It just makes me excited with you!
  • Love that the beginning is so similar to the southern reach trilogy (annihilation) and the vibe is similar to Roadside Picnic but greener. Love sealed off mysterious zones.

I NEED TO PLAY THIS NOW. I was hyped from the trailer a couple months ago, but seeing gameplay makes me really excited.
  • @csaey4472
Listening to splat excitedly recap at the end, telling about the bits and bobs, sells the game tbh. Glad to see it!
  • @robrobusa
This could be even more amazing in VR.
