The Revolution was THE BEST part of that show. This should have been shown instead of those random performances from people who didn't even know Prince. Wendy did the darn thing on that guitar solo during Purple Rain.

Everyone in the Revolution still sounds so great. Wendy and Lisa’s career is so underrated (one of like 3 people EVER allowed to contribute anything musical to a prince album not the man himself).

This is so good why wasn’t this in the Grammy salute? Like seriously revolution if you’re seeing this we love you and you should have been featured more.

Real Music played by real Musicians! We the fans know what The Revolution meant to Prince's career.💜💜💜💜

Only The Revolution could perform this! Beautiful and emotional; I cried.
  • THIS was by far THE BEST performance of the evening. Anyone who actually lived and grew up in the 80’s Prince and the Revolution era could feel his love and energy all over this song, track and live performance! I do believe only at this point The Revolution is the ONLY band that could purely still keep Prince’s spirit alive with new albums and live performances. Because (all though appreciated), shows like this and the Estate putting out never ending Prince vault music for us to own, possess and buy just ain’t cuttin’ it anymore. RIP Purple One💜💜💜💜.

This literally gave me chills and tears at the same time, don't care what anyone says, tightest band right here, all connected perfectly, plus Wendy rocks!

The sad reality is that 90% of the audience had never heard of this amazing amazing piece of musical magic

This is my all time favorite Prince song! This should have never been cut from the show. This is the most solid performance! This is excellent! 💜💜💜
  • @mazroon

The Rock and roll hall of fame have been inducting backing bands like the E Street band. It's time for The Revolution to get their due.

Fantastic! Wendy did a great job on vocals. My only regret is I keep thinking Prince is going to jump out on stage and join them all. He’s missing. But they did a great job in this Tribute to him.
    Thanks Revolution! 👏🏻

I’ve not watched the tribute and to be honest I’ve no intention. Watching a host of acts murder his songs has no appeal. But the Revolution, they were worth tuning in for. Brilliant band.
